Just left Rona Stirling. Had an almost excellent experience. Staff was really helpful and courteous. Would have givin them a 6 star, except, I thought I was the millionth customer. Nope. Was told I was Million and 1. Oh well......Thanks again to Dave.

Excellent customer service yesterday with Dave.
Helped me find everything and offered suggestions. The clr spray recomended for the bathroom worked great, so I didn't have to.

I wholeheartedly strive to support our local businesses. Rona in Stirling is, unfortunately, not the first place that comes to mind for most. However, I've been there many times and found the staff friendly and accommodating. So, I'm sure to check here prior to driving to Town and supporting an unknown random at big box store.

Owner Kirk is very rude and impatient to people asking simple questions that spend thousands of dollars in his store. Hung up on me for no reason for asking him a question about bulk discounts on a product that isn’t available online that every other store offers.

Called back because I thought he must have hung up by accident and he proceeded to yell at me and say to take my business elsewhere and there are a lot of other Rona’s I could go to instead.

Never met a more rude owner of a store, sounds like a failing business to me, wouldn’t be surprised if it is sold or closed down in the near future if that’s how he talks to customers.

Perhaps he was having a bad day. He is welcome to call me back and apologize for his behaviour and I will take the review down, otherwise it will stay. I’m not an unreasonable person but this man certainly seems to be.

The rest of his employees seem to be nice but at his mercy of course and I feel bad for them if he treats them or speaks to them the same way he did to me today.

Rona plus Belleville ASM was very helpful getting me what I needed though and had no issues matching the online bulk discount for the product and did not seem surprised about the way Kirk handled the situation, and were happy to receive my business and my thousands of dollars every couple of months.
