I just want to say that my catering order from Zaxbys was amazing. The service was immaculate. The presentation was unmatched. The quality of the food was outstanding. I couldn’t have asked for better service. My daughter’s sweet 16 was a total success. I will definitely use them again for my catering needs.

I come to the Lake Murray Zaxby’s in Irmo pretty often, usually for the Wings & Things and a house zalad, and I have consistently noticed that the food is especially good whenever Barry, the general manager, is there -- which seems to be most of the time. The portions are always right, the wings are substantial and well-sauced, and everything is prepared the way it should be.

The service at this location is also consistently better than at the other Zaxby’s locations I’ve visited around Columbia. Barry clearly runs a great restaurant and pays attention to the details. I also really appreciate the Christian music they play; it creates a pleasant and welcoming environment.

Barry mentioned that he may potentially move to another location near USC, and we sincerely hope he stays in Irmo. This location would be sad to lose him!

We had a very good experience at Zaxby's. The restaurant was clean, the food was fresh and tasted great, and the entire staff appeared to work well together as a team.

I was especially impressed with the general manager, who was not only supervising the shift but also actively teaching and coaching team members along the way. It was clear that leadership was focused on providing excellent customer service and developing the staff.

Overall, our visit went very well, and we will definitely return. The only suggestion I would offer is to consider lowering menu prices, as food costs everywhere have become quite expensive. Other than that, it was an excellent dining experience.

First time ever being at a Zaxbys being new to South Carolina. I explained to the person at the counter. It was my first time and how do I order certain things I was looked at with a puzzled look from the cashier as he said OK. I ordered the new surf and turf and he was getting frustrated because he wasn’t asking me any questions he just assumed I knew everything even after saying I’ve never been to one before I get home and lo and behold, there’s No turf in my surf and turf, so I called the restaurant And explain to them there was no chicken in the box they asked me to come back. I said I couldn’t. I have to go back to work. The line was out to the road when I had left. On a good note The sweet tea is great! Not a good first impression.
