Beautiful space with pretty glass artwork and columns, and a fine dining atmosphere.

Our mermaid pod took part in the Restaurant Week special here. It was my first time in the establishment, but the menu looked like it would be delightful.

Upon entering we were greeted by some very nice hostesses who allowed us to wait for our party while we listened to the live lounge performance.

Our server, Michelle, was wonderful. She was patient with our needs to take time before ordering, and she made sure our table was well supplied with beverages and bread early on. She also assisted with our parking validations and boxing, and had ready recommendations for menu items and popular preparations.

Our food runner (I think his name was Sam) was very sweet and helpful, from the pepper grinding to the plate delivery and removal, to the addition of broccoli to my friend's plate when she had received only two pieces.

I would love to give this restaurant 5 stars, but the truth of the matter is the food just wasn't able to meet that 5th star in quality to me.

The taste was good, I especially liked the lobster and crab bisque, and my salmon. The flavor was wonderful but the fish was a touch overcooked and tougher than I would usually like (but not tough enough to complain), and the girls who ordered the filet mignon all agreed that they were a bit mushy in texture. I think the mashed potatoes were delightful and fluffy, but the broccoli lacked seasoning and was sort of bland.

We all had a slice of the chocolate cake. Outside of craving some ice cream on the side, no notes there.

We came here from out of town for my husband’s birthday and legit everything was perfect! The service was absolutely incredible, they gave him a birthday card and let us create a scallop dish that wasn’t on the menu, which was incredible! Thanks chefs! Their creamed corn was one of the best I have ever had, so cheesy! I wish I could recall our server’s name, she was so darling. Sweet, attentive, knowledgeable about the food and wine and so so friendly. Of course they also did a little happy birthday dessert, which I so appreciated. We had a great table too. Thanks all for such a wonderful experience!

I was extremely disappointed with our meal. I ordered the $99 Australian Wagyu 8 oz filet, and it was honestly the worst steak I have ever had, which seems almost impossible considering the cut of meat and the price. The seasoning was very odd for a steak and so overpowering that I could barely taste the meat itself. I expected the Wagyu to be the highlight of the meal, but instead it was completely ruined by the seasoning. It would have been much better with simple salt, pepper, butter, and garlic.

The lobster mac and cheese was also a letdown. It came out cold and did not have much lobster in it. It was nowhere near as good as the lobster mac and cheese I have had at Ruth’s Chris or other higher-end steakhouses.

My wife’s salad was disappointing as well. It was basically half a head of lettuce, one strip of bacon cut into two pieces, and a few tomatoes spread around the plate. It did not feel like something you would expect from a restaurant charging these prices.

The bread was good, but we were never told there would be a charge for it. We only found out when we looked at the receipt. The only food item that was actually great was the sweet and spicy shrimp appetizer.

The staff and service were fine, but unfortunately that was nowhere near enough to make up for how bad the steak and the rest of the meal were. We went in expecting a premium steakhouse experience, but the food did not come close to living up to the cost or the restaurant’s reputation.

What an event! Our experience was top notch - from the moment our hors d'oeuvres arrived to the pouring of flaming cognac on our delectable vanilla ice cream and brownie dessert, we enjoyed every bite and every minute. Our server - Sara made it even more special, knowing we were there celebrating our wedding anniversary. She made us feel welcomed and her service was impeccable. Thank you Sara and Eddie Merlots for a wonderful evening. Only thing I would suggest would be sending folks home with a photo from their special occasions.

Our meal was excellent, as was the service. The vibe feels oddly like a Las Vegas casino restaurant (the old kind). We also had a phenomenal carrot cake, but apparently their espresso machine jas been broken for months, so no after dinner espresso to accompany it. Shame.
