I came into town with my father. We visited marlborough under sad circumstances as my aunt had passed away. During one of our nights out we came to marlborough tavern to have a meal. I had found this establishment online before we even headed here from illinois, thinking it would be a cool place to go. This place IS indeed pretty cool, friendly, and professional. We were seated and then served by Kelly the bartender; she was wonderful. My dad had a sirloin steak and I had the short ribs over noodles with a cherry wood smoked old fashioned; This was probably the best meal I have had since coming to CT. GREAT SERVICE, thanks again to kelly who was a wonderful server and bartender. Thanks to the marlborough tavern for such a great meal. Highly recommended by me, a random from Chicagoland, Illinois.

The food and drinks are so good! I love that it's a historical landmark. Imagining that i sat in the same spot as our first president is mind blowing. Rustic, cozy esthetic. Plus The service is awesome, all the girls that work there are beautiful and sweet. My husband and I go every Friday night for our date night. It's good that we can earn points every time we go and save a bit of money. There's never a wait to be seated which blows my mind every week. The best part is that it's 10 minutes from my house. #winning

After some shopping in the area, my family and I visited Marlborough Tavern for an early dinner. They had a great variety on the menu and even some fun specials with it being St. Patrick’s weekend. Everything was delicious, and we especially loved their wings. Our server was friendly and attentive. The history of the restaurant paired well with our trip to Marlborough Barn beforehand, and we would definitely come back to do the same again!

10/10 came from out of state for a quick bit to eat. This is the rigatoni chicken parm! Perfect amount of crispiness and the vodka sauce is to die for. The “bottom of the pit” mixed drink was ammmmazzzinnggg. Apple crisp for dessert is the perfect ending. Can’t forget about the Carolina gold dipping sauce for the sweet potato fries!! Best food ever! Wish I lived closer!!
