I had a great experience working with Rachel at SmartStop Self Storage. I was actually her first customer sale while she was training, and I have to say she did an amazing job. She was friendly, professional, and made the whole process simple and stress-free.

Rachel took the time to answer all of my questions and made sure I understood everything before moving forward. Her welcoming attitude and attention to detail really stood out. Even though she was learning, she handled herself with confidence and made me feel like I was in good hands.

SmartStop Self Storage is lucky to have someone like Rachel on their team. She is off to a great start and I’m sure she will continue to provide excellent service to future customers.

This place has rats and mice in it. It's filthy. I wouldn't be surprised if there's cockroaches as well. There's a reason why I'm moving out of this storage unit. Every time someone moves out they put the rent up more and more. At this rate I have to agree with everybody for the amount of garbage I'd be living with. I may as well just live in my storage unit. If I'm going to have to pay it like I have to pay rent or to own a home then I may as well be allowed to do as I please to it. So for this storage place I don't recommend them. They're not a very good place. They're not very clean at all and it's very very dirty inside. I've lost quite a bit to do at this place and what's been eaten and destroyed and they don't even care about it so I absolutely do not recommend them these are just some of the photos that I've taken to do with the stuff that we've lost. This is more than half my home more than 20 years of building this home for my family so I just thought you guys might like to see what you guys are in for. If you guys decide to rent from this place again, I definitely do not recommend this place at all I just want all that is at the storage unit to understand the insurance is a scam. They don't pay for any of this. I know that because I lost more than half my house and I'm getting nothing nothing from them because the insurance says it's not their fault either. So if it's not the insurance fault and it's not the storage company's fault, whose fault is it? Because I know it ain't the owners. So if I were you guys, I would not even consider any of this knowing that their insurance is bogus, it does not work for any reason

I rent a small unit at this location and have been since July of 2025. We had no issues with our unit up until a couple months ago. The mouse issue at this location has gotten out of hand. Mice have now damaged and entered into my unit, regularly leave droppings and piss everywhere and the other day I even found a dead one in my unit. I mentioned it to staff as I don’t want to be liable for the damage to the unit and because (although stated in their contract that they take no liability for damage to your belongings by Rodents) they should be taking the health and safety of their paying clients seriously and dealing with the issue at hand. I was informed by the worker I spoke with that they are “dealing with” the mice issue but that “it will never be fully solved” shifting blame to the fact that it’s an “old building” rather than considering a permanent fix. The smell within the building is pungent. They lock you out if you’re a couple days late for rent but yet they don’t care about their clients health and safety within the building. Their gate is always broken aswell. This location is dirty and gross and poses a risk to everyone’s health and safety.

Was greeted by the lovely Shivani at the Hamilton location. She was extremely knowledgeable and answered all of my questions. She explained in detail the rental terms and made sure I felt comfortable and happy with the unit I got! Great customer service. Fair prices.
