They lost my credit card.

The place wasn’t very busy. I gave them my card to pay, they took it to the back, my card was charged and then they brought the receipt back to my table without the card (11:08). When I pointed out that I hadn’t gotten my card back, my server made a half-hearted attempt to search for it while focusing on other tables. My server and another server came back several times to ask if I was sure I had never gotten my card back and insisted it had come back to our table. Finally, almost 30 minutes later (~11:35), they finally found it in the back somewhere. The manager never spoke to us or apologized while we were waiting. We did see the manager walking around though and she seemed more focused on adjusting the thermostat than on finding a missing credit card.

We spent longer waiting to get my card back than we did eating. It also didn’t feel like anyone was taking a missing credit card seriously, when that’s a really big deal. It’s wild how they basically treated it as a non-issue, like this happens there frequently. The food isn’t anywhere near good enough to justify this kind of service.

The atmosphere is pleasant, the servers are attentive and considerate, and most importantly the food is splendid, coming with both strong presentation and great flavor. I ordered a smoked salmon and eggs benedict, as it is a unique dish that I have never seen before. It did not disappoint. The eggs were cooked to perfection, having fully cooked whites yet runny yolks. The flavors of the salmon and the rest of the dish created a uniquely brilliant savor. The only disappointing aspect were the potatoes, which looked better than they tasted.

Mimi's has a strong breakfast menu, and I highly recommend experiencing the food for yourself.

I had the three course meal with the soup, chicken cordon blue spinach, potatoes, and cake. Everything else was good except the chicken cordon blue. It taste like crunchy paper. It would be nice if the chicken cordon blue was actually freshly prepared because eating frozen food at a sit down restaurant is crazy! I assume the fried chicken is frozen too so i would stay away from the chicken and waffles. I was extremely disappointed for what I paid for. The service was good though.
