We love to come to this Starbucks location almost every single day. In fact, we pass several other Starbucks along the way, just to come here. (I'm sure the other stores are friendly, too.)
We feel so welcome here! They know our names, and our favorite drinks. They feel like family to us. They bust their buns to keep the store clean, and they give great service to every customer we've seen.

Sarah K. is truly one of a kind, and Starbucks is incredibly fortunate to have her as a manager at the Downtown Des Moines 10th & Locust location. Her customer service skills are unmatched - she handles every order with care and makes everyone feel valued and respected. Sarah consistently goes above and beyond for every single customer, setting the gold standard for what exceptional customer service should look like. She even personally delivers orders to customers throughout the store, which speaks volumes about her dedication. I would be remiss not to mention the rest of her team, who are nothing short of phenomenal. I truly cannot say enough great things about Sarah and her team! She absolutely deserves all the recognition and more for the incredible experience she consistently provides. I visited this Starbucks three years ago, and the staff, district manager, and overall atmosphere were different. They removed the cozy couch in the intercenter, which was a shame. There aren’t many outlets, but they’ve managed to make do with what they have. The new digital signage is a great addition. The customer service remains excellent, and the food is still as good as usual. Keep up the hard work, everyone!

Excellent example of a good starbucks. I was instantly greeted and my order was taken quickly. Coffee and pastry were both great. The facility including the bathrooms were in good condition. Well done team!
