My friend and I had an amazing time at Trio! The entry process was smooth, and we didn’t have to wait in any long lines to get in. The staff and bartender were all very polite and welcoming. The crowd was great, with everyone seeming present, engaged, and genuinely enjoying themselves. The drinks were reasonably priced, and DJ Daniel put on a fantastic EDM show that kept the energy going all night! I would definitely return the next time I visit Charlotte. Highly recommend!

If you're a real EDM, techno, or house music lover, this place is absolute trash. I've never heard worse music played in a club. The DJs are PROS at killing the vibe, they never seem to know when to drop the beat and somehow manage to ruin every song.
If you've ever been to ClubSpace Miami or pretty much any club in Europe, you'll know exactly what I'm talking about. Trio's DJs could literally burp into the mic, and people would still be dancing and vibing. They'd have to pay ME to go there again. Just absolute trash. Please do better.
Charlotte, please let your taste in electronic music grow. Stop hyping something just because it sounds different from country music. The DJs aren't improving, and Trio isn't paying for better DJs because y'all keep accepting whatever they're offering right now.
Help Charlotte grow its EDM, techno, and house music scene. We deserve better... smh

Trio CLT is a well-rounded venue that delivers a solid nightlife experience in Charlotte. I attended for the kickoff of DJ Nic Vans’ tour and was pleasantly impressed. The upstairs space is notably generous, allowing for comfortable movement even when the crowd builds as the night progresses - arriving earlier in the evening is a smart move to take advantage of that. The venue layout accommodates a good-sized crowd, and the energy on the dance floor was electric throughout the night. Overall, Trio CLT is a reliable option for live DJ events and nights out in Charlotte.

We visited Trio on a Saturday night and had pre-booked a table for 10, paying $450 upfront. We were told we’d have a dedicated staff member to take care of us.
However, the experience didn’t match expectations. We ordered a bottle of vodka, and it was placed in a locked container. That’s understandable, but no one came to actually serve or pour drinks for us. We were left waiting with no access to the bottle, which was frustrating.
Throughout the night, service was very inconsistent. No one really checked in or helped us, even though we were promised dedicated service.
At the end, when they brought the bill, I had to specifically ask them to pour the remaining liquor from the bottle. Also, when we went downstairs to buy beers and asked them to add them to our table, they refused and said we had to order at the table—which wasn’t convenient given the lack of service.
Overall, the experience didn’t justify the price. Better service and clearer communication would have made a big difference.
But the music and the atmosphere was great

Had such a great experience here! Diana was the hostess outside and was amazing and honestly set the tone for the whole night. She was super friendly, and made getting in really easy even though it was busy. It’s always nice when the first person you meet at a place is so positive and professional. Definitely made us want to come back!
