Terrible customer service — especially from Pedro, who I believe is the owner or manager.
I originally opened a claim through Asurion, and because this is the closest location to my home, we have used this store before. Unfortunately, this is not our first frustrating experience with them.
The exact same issue with my phone happened about two months ago. I brought it into this location, they said they didn’t have my part so I had to reschedule and did, then I was told they fixed the issue, and now dealing with the SAME problem again. So when I had to come back this time, I was already frustrated because I was literally returning for the exact same issue I had previously brought to this store.
This time, someone from the store called me to set up an appointment. I explained that I couldn’t come in that same day, and the employee told me Saturday was fine. I specifically asked if I needed to make an appointment and was told NO. Based on what I was told BY THEIR STORE, I showed up Saturday expecting to have my phone taken care of.
Pedro’s response was essentially, “Nope, we have nothing for you. I don’t know what to tell you.” He told me I needed to call and file another claim because it wasn’t considered a warranty since they had never replaced the screen.
Rather than trying to help me resolve the situation, he was rude, dismissive, and showed absolutely no empathy for the fact that I was standing there with the exact same problem I had already brought to this store before.
I ended up calling AT&T while standing in the store, and Pedro continued insisting that the previous repair never happened. At that point, I was frustrated and did speak over him because I was trying to explain that THIS WAS THE SAME PROBLEM I HAD ALREADY DEALT WITH AT THIS STORE. I’ll own that I had an attitude at that point, but his rude and dismissive behavior is what got the situation there in the first place.
What makes it even worse is that, at the end of the conversation, AT&T confirmed that the store was the one that cancelled the appointment and documented that I didn’t want to schedule it. That is NOT what happened. I was told by the store employee that Saturday was fine and that I did not need to make an appointment. Somehow, that became me refusing to schedule.
Mistakes happen. I completely understand that. What I DON’T understand is having a customer come back for the exact same unresolved issue, being given incorrect information by your own store, and then being treated like an inconvenience when you show up.
The biggest issue for me was not even the inconvenience, it was Pedro’s attitude. There was no attempt to understand the situation, no empathy, and very little effort to actually help. Instead, I was met with rudeness and essentially told it was my problem to figure out.
I will say that the employee who ultimately came out and brought my phone back to me was very kind and respectful, and I appreciate that. Unfortunately, the experience with Pedro completely overshadowed that.
I would NOT recommend this location. If you are going to have customers return for the same issue, the absolute least you can do is treat them with respect and actually try to help resolve the situation especially when the confusion surrounding the appointment was caused by your own store.

Recently I needed a new battery because my phone kept getting hot. Pedro did a great job and explained everything completely. I was so happy with the new battery that I took my husband‘s phone in the very next day to have his replaced as well. The workers here are very trustworthy and very efficient. I highly recommend them.

These guys have been my go to for years simply for convenience and assurance they'll handle my repair professionally. I personally hate the more recent addition of the corporate subscription program they're forced to push, however. You'll get my trust and return business by doing a good job, not by railing me into one repair business.

Awesome service! I thought my connector port was damaged when I knocked my iPhone 12 Pro off the nightstand and hung by the cable. I couldn’t get the cable I keep in the office to connect or seat properly. The technician, Jayson, looked at my phone and diagnosed it less than 30 seconds. The tip of the charging cable broke off into the port. He grabbed some fine tweezers and pulled it out. With a little bit of lint. Checked that a cable would now seat properly and sent me on my way. Free of charge! They totally could have made money by selling me a replacement port and I would t have known the difference. Thank you Jayson and uBreakIFix by asurion!!! Amazing people. ❤️
