I cannot say enough wonderful things about this veterinary office and the compassion they showed during one of the most heartbreaking experiences we've ever had. My cat became unexpectedly and critically ill, and they were able to see him the very same day—within the hour. When we were faced with the devastating realization that he was dying, every person we interacted with was incredibly caring, gentle, and compassionate.

They went far above and beyond what I would ever expect from a veterinary office. Their kindness didn’t end when we left. They followed up with a beautiful card expressing their thoughts and prayers and included his paw prints, which was such a meaningful and unexpected gesture. It meant more to our family than they probably realize.

Losing a beloved pet is incredibly difficult, but having a veterinary team treat him and us with such compassion made an unbearable moment a little easier. I am so grateful for the care they provided and for the genuine kindness they showed our family. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a veterinary office that truly cares about their patients and the families who love them.

Insanely overpriced.

My dog had potential breast cancer. They offered to send off part of one of the mass's for lab work ($1700 quote). The surgery itself was quoted at $2800 PER SIDE. So I did not want to spend $1700 to find out it was cancer and then spend another $5,600 to do the surgery. So We went ahead with the surgery of one side. After all the checkups, blood work, surgery, etc the total costs for just one side was $4900. And my poor dog went thru hell. A very rough surgery (not the vets fault). It has been about 6 months an the untreated side is doing fine. They told me to wait some time before doing the other side. I still haven't decided if I am going to. I would likely be close to $10,000 if I did it with Goodvets all said and done. I do not know if it is worth it to put my dog thru that again. Anyway, way overpriced.

And then this week, my partner took our cat in. $570 for simple bloodwork, shots in a checkup. And then they told us the cat needed a tooth extracted. We took her in today for that, and to remove ONE TOOTH was $1300. That is about double the cost for a human tooth. So all in all, we have paid Goodvets over $7,000 for costs that I have since researched other places to be about $2500-$3500.

I will say, there was some complications with my dog Bella, and she did need a spay - but Unless you have $7k to spend and not sweat it - I would look elsewhere.

Lastly, everything there felt transactional. No emotion behind it. I mean if you're gonna charge prices as if it's human healthcare - you may as well pretend to care. I am giving it 2 stars because they were very informative and workers there are nice. Shoot I would be too if I was robbing people blind.

PS - A reminder or two does the job Goodvets. 6 emails, 4 texts, and 3 phone calls isn't necessary. I am sure they know that a missed appt is lost money - and this money hungry business wouldn't dare lose out on that.

Our pup has had quite a few issues since we have had her. We chose GoodVets because our pup knows Dr Romero from our neighborhood. It was one of the wisest choices I have made. The GoodVets office on Polaris is squeaky clean, hospitable, pleasant and comfortable. Our pup is a Cavapoo with digestive issues but has been limping and lethargic the past week. Dr Matthew Romero is not only one of the best vets ever but genuinely shows concern and love for pets.

I got a kitten a week ago, and booked his first appointment with GoodVets. The staff was very welcoming and made sure my little guy was handled with care and love. I'm definitely happy I found them for Sir (Oscar) Cheddar Pepper III!

Staff was incredibly compassionate. My old lady cat was my best friend of the last nearly 20 years. Very appreciative of the staff giving us as much time as we need, thoroughly explaining the process. They were able to get me in almost immediately. I got to hold her until the end. A good choice for a place to make the hardest decision a pet owner had to make. Attaching a picture of my girl before she got sick.
