Hotel staff were friendly, rooms were very clean, comfortable beds, great water pressure and temperature. Was not a fan of the noise outside at night, I would request a room not on the street. Also the rooms do not have black out curtains so there is street light that gets into the rooms. The biggest issue I had was with a $30 per day facility charge for WiFi and coffee/tea. These are standard amenities in a boutique hotel of this level so shocked for an additional charge and no option to opt out from this fee per day.

My wife and I came to the city for her birthday and our 25th anniversary. This was our first time staying at Kixby but it wonāt be our last. First, you couldnāt ask for a better location. Tons of great restaurants very close and the subway is a couple feet down the block. I emailed two days before we arrived asking for some special attention for my wife. It was last minute so I didnāt even expect them to acknowledge the email. Well that did. They game us a huge room with little gifts and notes around the room. It was very nice and she really appreciated it! I have to mention the staff. Every single person we came in contact with was so nice. You can really tell they want to be there. 10/10

Wonderful place. Probably helped that we got an upgrade due to running out of standard king rooms, but I'm sure those are great too.
Didn't require any "hands on" service, but the employees welcoming you back any time you returned was nice. Everyone seemed friendly.
Rooftop bar was closed, but that's mother nature's fault. Still able to go up, just had to get drinks from the restaurant. And I learned that at midnight (at least on the night I stayed), the lights on the empire State building, which towers over you, go BONKERS for 10 minutes, which was a cool unexpected show.
Fantastic location for Broadway shows, and right by a subway stop for anything else you could want.
I don't have anything planned yet, but next time my wife and I head to the city for another getaway, this will be the first place we check.

Stayed for 5 nights in June 2026. Very nice hotel in a great location to explore NYC. We had a twin room on 11th floor which was spacious and modern. It is a little noisy in terms of outside noise, but thatās not unique to the Kixby, it just comes with the territory in NYC.
Didnāt really require anything from reception, but they were polite and efficient on arrival and departure. Personally donāt think you get much for the āresort feeā of $30 + tax per day, but again I donāt think thatās unique to the Kixby.
Went to Black Tap one evening for dinner - very enjoyable meal and reasonable pricing for a hotel restaurant / NYC prices.
Overall would recommend and would return if I came back to NYC.

Stayed 1st May to 3rd May, room was very comfortable, clean and had everything we'd need (coffee pod machine, hairdryer, iron and ironing board) the lamps had USB charging ports which was fab and freed up my plugs,
The shower was amazing !!! Shampoo, conditioner and body wash were really nice!! Lovely touch having shower caps and moisturiser! Great water pressure.
The location was amazing !! Soo near to everything! The rooftop bar had just opened and it was such a party vibe!!! We couldnt hear it from our room (floor 6)
The free water bottle was great and the room on the 2nd floor for coffee, tea, water, ice, flavoured water was very handy!
I would come back here again. Staff were really friendly.
