Only 2 weeks into moving in. Neighborhood is quiet, residents are friendly for those I've met. But, I chose this location based on the high reviews for maintenance. My unit was not properly cleaned before I moved in. I brought it up along with several other issues. I've inquired about the issues twice and told they'd be taken care of soon. This is ridiculous. Then, when I went in to ask for an update, there was another resident who has had an electrical issue in his apartment and waiting on a fix for the past 4 months. That's horrendous. Pretty confident this lease will be a one and done, unless something significant changes.

TLDR: there are many great features of this complex, staff are generally nice, and maintenance team is great, but it is an aging complex and necessary upgrades to keep it livable are going unaddressed.

Pros:
The surrounding area and complex grounds are great, especially if you own animals.
Complex staff are nice enough, and easy to work with depending on the subject.
Apartment floor plans are much more livable compared to newer options.
Maintenance team was great. The only issue was when they had to get approval to make larger fixes, but that’s not their fault (more info below).

Cons:
We signed two leases here. Upon renewal, they tried to raise rent 11% while also not addressing any of the issues below or making any other upgrades. Renewal quotes were much higher than what units were being listed for online.
The A/C unit for our apartment is 23 years old. It did not properly cool the apartment. We could not use the dryer, oven, or stove during the summer bc it would heat up the apartment too much. Because the A/C unit was old and barely cooled, our electric bill in the summer was over $200 a month just to keep the apartment (850 sq ft) in the high 70s degrees, which it couldn’t do anyway. Temps inside during summer got to 76-80+ degrees.
It took them 8 months, multiple meetings, and multiple requests to replace a window that leaked water into the apartment when it rained.
The fees on top of the rent are significantly overpriced compared to going rates elsewhere.
When attempting to communicate any of these issues to the leasing office, emails would not be responded to and promises made during in-person meetings were broken. This was very, very frustrating.

I’ve lived here since March 2024 and recently renewed my lease, and I’ve had such a positive experience. Sherry Sedita has been absolutely wonderful! She is always friendly, informative, and genuinely helpful. She consistently goes above and beyond to accommodate and make things work whenever possible, and I truly appreciate the care and effort she puts into helping residents.

The maintenance and service staff are also great and always quick to respond whenever something comes up. The community itself is quiet and peaceful, and I’ve had wonderful, friendly neighbors as well.

Overall, it’s been a great place to call home. The wonderful staff, especially Sherry, and the overall community have made my experience here a very positive one and made renewing my lease an easy decision!

Our experience at Camden Silo Creek has been disappointing. For over a month, we have been reporting excessive impact noise from the apartment above. The repeated running and jumping typically begins around 6:45–7:00 a.m. on weekdays and continues throughout much of the day on weekends, repeatedly disrupting both my daughter's sleep and mine.

Communication has been slow, and for much of this process we felt left on our own while waiting for updates. It took over a month for the issue to be investigated. A flooring contractor eventually inspected the apartment above and identified an area in the flooring contributing to the excessive noise transmission. While we appreciate that a repair is now being planned, we are still waiting for it to be scheduled, and the disturbances continue in the meantime.

For an apartment community at this price point, we expected better sound insulation and a quicker resolution to an issue that has had such a significant impact on our quality of life.

I recently visited Camden Silo Creek Apartments and I had a wonderful experience. Marisa was friendly and answered all my questions before, while, and after we toured the complex. The apartment there are so cozy, modern and clean. In term of pricing I felt they are reasonable. Overall I would recommend Camden Silo Creek Apartments. Photos are of a 2 bedroom apartment.
