Prepaid 1 gallon of gas, attending didn’t know the price. Looked at sign. Told attendant 3.98. Attendant required I take a piece of paper with a code. Returned the price of paper to attendant. For 1 gallon of gas.told him, talk to management because this is ridiculous. Attendant got short. “Pump your gas and leave!” My gas was pumped before i reentered building. Not his fault really. I felt bad being so rude bud if I prepay, and don’t want a receipt? I don’t want a receipt. They also have no problem selling alcohol to intoxicated customers. I know this for a fact.

Maverick ruined a pefectly ran operation in Kum and Go. They are now consistently dirtier, the pizza is awful, and the staff have turned from friendly and engaging to robotic and uninterested. Kum and go felt more unique to southwestern Missouri. Maverick lacks ambiance, lacks taste, lacks passion. I know, it's only a gas station. But, when everything it operated in uniformity you lose individuality. I'll just go back to Casey's at least they interact with their customers and their pizza is good.

Gas price is a scam here. Not from the area. Went in paid cash. Thought there was a discount. Didn't understand the nitro it wasn't told about it. Got charged regular credit card price. Got told that's just how it is. 100 yards down the road is $0.20 cheaper.

It’s clean and of course has great fountain drinks. The workers are all very nice and the night workers especially are very good at making you feel welcome. They are very good to their regular customers, I know this because I am one of the regular customers. I work late and I’m often up at the wee hours of the night and they are always friendly and as helpful as they can be. They have gone above and beyond on many occasions for me and I really appreciate that especially from the store that’s right around the corner from my house. There is a young man who is very tall with long, dark hair and he is one of the friendliest people I’ve met and he always made me feel like he was happy I stopped at the gas station. Also there’s is another guy with blonde hair who is a little shorter and he is very friendly and makes good conversation with everyone who comes in but doesn’t push it on people who don’t want to join in, just lets them know they are welcome to if they’d like. They have quickly made it my favorite gas station in my neighborhood. The store is kept up and very clean as well.

Stopped at this location when departing Springfield, MO. It was easy to get in and out of but it was late at the time so customer traffic was probably the lowest it would be during the day. The store was clean and the one staff member that was present was friendly. They have everything that other gas stations have as far as food and drinks go and it's around a lot of other businesses too if you need to stop somewhere else. Good fueling spot.
