Five Below, Alameda

I remembered when they first opened, it was a hot mess! I think they wasn’t ready for the grand opening. Everything was everywhere and it was very messy. There were garbage and random customer’s drinks in different places.

Fast forward currently, they used to had self check-outs, now there is a cashier to help you ring up stuff. Sometimes they run out of plastic bags so be warned, FYI, bring your own bag!!

The workers are nice and friendly, they greet you when you walk in. Some stuff doesn’t have prices on their products so it’s like playing Price Roulette. 😂

Overall, I would come back cause some of the workers are awesome.

Too many closed registers.. Nice store even though
. I've been here a few times I work in South San Francisco. True fan of Five Below .. The Concord store is my regular go to.

The staff was friendly and helpful with all the price checks I kept needing because nothing was marked the correct price or put in the correct section. I dont understand how they have full shelves with no prices listed or how so much stuff is misplaced. When I get three items from a shelves that say $6 and all the items were over $10 I just had to leave with nothing.

We came a few days after Christmas so some of their seasonal shelves have not been restocked yet. Lots of toys, electronics, and fun stuff for kids. The t-shirts section was a bit messy. Large candy section. Great place to find gifts for reasonable prices.

O....hold onto your wallets and be PREPARED to let go because IN this store one will DEFINITELY locate a certain something for someone or YOURSELF! Luckily, my reason was to shop for children at the workplace and boy, oh, boy will they be full of cheer! The best part is this store usually lives up to the store name $5 & below-HOWEVER, be in the know there will be items that are above that. So many bargains at such reasonable prices. This is definitely a place to shop when you are in a budget crunch.
