The company was great right up until they received my deposit. The sales associate was excellent, and I felt confident moving forward after our discussions. I was advised that production would take approximately eight weeks before installation. After waiting about 11 weeks with no updates, I reached out for a status update but received no response for a week. It wasn't until I copied other members of the company on my email that I finally received a reply and an installation date.

As installation day approached, I still hadn't received any communication about when the installer would arrive. I had taken the day off work and expected a morning arrival. By 9:30 a.m., no one had shown up and no one had contacted me. I called twice without an answer before someone finally arrived around 10:00 a.m.

I want to be clear that the installer himself has been excellent. The issues I've experienced are not his fault. However, after he left for the day, I noticed numerous problems with the doors themselves. The interior caulking around the windows is seeping out, there are areas where the paint is missing, and some of the glass and trim appear warped. Most importantly, the doors that were installed were not the doors I ordered.

I made several attempts to resolve these issues, but each conversation resulted in responsibility being passed from one person to another. I eventually spoke with Cheryl in hopes of finding a solution, but she was clearly annoyed by my concerns and spoke to me in a manner that I found disrespectful and unprofessional.

To make matters worse, despite the incorrect doors being installed, the company wasted no time sending me a final invoice with a payment deadline.

A sales associate came to my home in an attempt to resolve the issues, but I was met with further hostility and unprofessional behaviour, all of which I have on camera.

Overall, I am extremely disappointed. The lack of communication after my deposit was paid, the poor customer service, and the installation of the wrong doors have completely overshadowed what started as a positive experience. Mistakes can happen, but what matters is how a company responds when they do. In my experience, there was a lack of accountability, poor communication, and an unwillingness to address legitimate concerns in a professional manner.

Based on my experience, I would not recommend this company and will not be using them again for future window or door projects.

Mike came over to my mom's place today and went above and beyond in helping her. This kind person spent time repairing her door rather than encouraging her to purchase new ones. Honesty, integrity and care are what Dayside windows and doors has with this employee.

Wish there was a zero. Terrible job the crew did. 3 of the 4 guys stood in their van talking for over 3 hours while the newest of their crew struggled with capping the windows. When we mentioned it , they said " we're ahead of schedule so we have spare time ". Pathetic. Then when we asked to re cap a few of the worst windows they said it's a service issue and to call in cause that's a different crew. So we did and the same guy came out and said that it exceeds their quality control so there's nothing they can do. Meanwhile, multiple windows hold water as the capping is angled upwards, bees get in cause their gaps are insanely huge, and some of the aluminum is linked from the guy pushing on it so hard trying to prove his point that it wasn't his issue. NEVER hire these clowns

This is the second time Dayside Windows & Doors has worked on my house. I am extremely happy with the outcome. The news doors look very nice and clean. Big thank you to Jeremy for enduring all the changes I made to the quote. And thank you to John, the installer who worked through a big windstorm to install our doors. I highly recommend Dayside to everyone who wants to replace doors and windows.

I like my new brown front door and storm door. The installers were friendly and cleaned up when they were done. They even reconnected my doorbell video and door keypad and made sure they worked.
