Paul was quick to respond when I called about a leak by our water shutoff valve, even though it was already after 7pm. Service was professional throughout; the work done was communicated clearly to us and in writing through an itemized invoice.

We had a a backed up sewer that flooded our basement. Paul responded to our call promptly and arrived on-site in a timely manner with clear communication. Paul was very professional and thorough - he showed us the blockage using his camera beforehand, and after using his drain clearing tool he showed us the roots he had cut with it and made sure they were fully swept away and the pipe was completely clear before retrieving his camera. Paul removed the blockage quickly and efficiently while having a great friendly attitude in explaining what was going on. Paul is also quite clear and fair in his pricing; be sure to have cash on hand as that is the preferred payment method.

I had a great experience working with Paul. As a first-time homeowner, I don’t know much about plumbing, so I really appreciated how responsive and helpful he was throughout the process.

Paul replied to my messages quickly, provided a fair and transparent quote, and completed the work efficiently. He replaced the plumbing under my kitchen sink and also helped replace a toilet seal.

It’s not often you find a tradesperson who is both knowledgeable and trustworthy. Hopefully I won’t need a plumber again anytime soon, but if I do, Paul will be my first call. I highly recommend him to anyone looking for reliable plumbing services.

Paul fixed my mom’s kitchen faucet on Friday - its flow was barely a trickle. It took several days to arrange a time that was suitable for all and Paul always answered my text messages immediately. He arrived on time and worked so quickly, efficiently, and charged a very reasonable fee for his service! My mom is so pleased with the work he did that she has not stopped singing his praises. She equated the job he did to a surgeon excising a tumour :) We’ll definitely be calling Paul for all our future plumbing needs and recommending him to everyone we know!!

Professional, Reliable, and Highly Efficient

I had a plumbing issue in Downtown Vancouver and Paul was a total lifesaver. He showed up on just a few hours' notice, which is incredibly rare in this city.
He was extremely professional and didn't waste a second of our time. He diagnosed the issue quickly and was very respectful of our home. It’s clear he’s a mature, experienced pro who takes a lot of pride in his work.

His rates are very competitive for the area, and he doesn’t tack on any unnecessary charges like many other companies in the city.

He even provided a thorough report to help us . If you’re looking for an honest, high-quality plumber in Vancouver, I highly recommend Paul!"

We had a sewer backup on a Saturday night, and had difficulty getting a plumber in to help us. On Sunday morning, Paul from Impero called to ask if he could help with an emergency sewer backup on a Sunday, on a referral from a firm we have used before — Red Seal - who didn’t have emergency weekend coverage available.

He arrived within 2 hours and assessed and solved the issue. He also explained how he was assessing and solving it as he went (since I’m the curious type).

I would recommend using Impero.

my garburator stopped working and my sink was flooded so I needed it to be fixed urgently. Paul was referred to me by another company as I needed to get this fixed after work hours, he responded quickly and with a very short notice. He examined the garburator and recommended that it should be removed, he came the second day to remove it and installed the new piping and the work was done very well and efficiently. Paul was very professional and polite, I would call him again for sure if I needed any other work done.

Paul was incredibly efficient and responsive, and got the job done perfectly with our toilet. I appreciate that he provided a quote right away which helped put me at ease. Came by in a timely manner and got everything working in minutes. Would 100% come back to him for any future projects.

We hired Impero Drainage and Plumbing for what turned out to be a complex plumbing issue. Paul was incredibly reliable, communicative, and transparent. He did his job expertly and efficiently. We were given a quote upfront, which he honoured. Because of Paul’s work and diagnostics, the city plumbers were able to come in the same day and 1.5 hours later, they pulled out a giant tube of dirt and roots from the pipes on the city’s side! Paul went above and beyond in making sure our issue was resolved, even after it moved beyond his scope of work. You simply can’t get this level of care from the big box plumbing companies. Do yourself a favour and give Impero Plumbing a call!
