I went for their kite festival and it was wonderful. First time visitors to this area and had no issue finding open parking. Kids had a great time at the kite festival, we purchased one for cheap, and plenty of vendors for food and trinkets. Overall, great family time. Next year, I bring a kite.

Brought daughter to play volleyball with her friends in the racquetball courts and stayed to watch the mayhem. Got passes quickly and court was ready at reservation time. Staff is really nice and facility is clean. Great experience.

Kudos the entire arrangement and management by the recreation center authorities at the Ida Lee park today. It was an amazing event with worthwhile performances by the GO GO Gadget band, the fireworks were extraordinary - the view was larger than life. Convenience of food trucks and public toilets. It was all very well organised, maintained and executed. What an evening!

Idea Park is one of the best things about living in Leesburg. This tremendous facility features two indoor tennis bubbles, Olympic size swimming pool, gym, showers, etc. Affordable and fair even for non-town residents. There are extensive walking trails and a dog park. I always like to remember the $17 million post gift of local legend A. V. symington who helped create this incredible resource.
