Moved into Windmore a week ago and we love it!! The home is beautiful and everyone we've interacted with at Trophy has been on top of it. We've worked with Shelby as our sales consultant, Eric was great giving us our new home orientation and following up on any pending items prior to move-in. Recently started working with Nathan from warranty, and he seems like a great guy and very on top of it. Excited to be here!!

Extremely disappointed with Trophy Signature Homes' warranty service. They witnessed a faucet leak into my cabinet firsthand but claimed it was 'normal' and due to 'excess water.' I had to pay $400 out of my own pocket to fix their poor installation. Once I properly caulked the faucet base, the leak stopped—proving it was a construction defect, not 'excess water.' If you want a builder that stands by their work, look elsewhere. They will find any excuse to deny your warranty claims.
=====================================

I initially had a very disappointing experience with Trophy Signature Homes’ warranty service. However, my experience changed significantly after the warranty manager was replaced.

The new warranty manager, Steve P, has been genuinely caring, supportive, and professional. He has gone above and beyond to address warranty issues whenever possible, including fixing several issues that had previously been denied by the former warranty manager. He has also followed through until the work was completed to my satisfaction.

That said, I do think it is a negative aspect that the quality of the warranty experience can vary so significantly depending on which warranty manager you are assigned to. Fortunately, my current warranty manager has been excellent and has made a very positive difference.

As with any new home, minor issues such as small drywall cracks from normal settling, shrinkage, and expansion are to be expected. These types of issues have been handled professionally and promptly by my current warranty manager.

Aside from these normal issues, I am very happy with the home itself. I particularly like the floor plan, the high ceilings and open, spacious feel, and the overall layout and functionality of the home. I also think the home offers very good value for the price, especially in terms of the overall design and energy efficiency.

Overall, my opinion of Trophy Signature Homes has improved considerably since the change in warranty management.

The first warranty request I submitted was because the left side of our brand-new home had no electricity. We had been living in the home for less than three days. Rebecca Lowe with Trophy Signature Homes informed me that it would take five or more days before an electrician could come out. Although Trophy Signature Homes was actively building homes just one street over and had electricians on-site, no effort was made to address our issue sooner. As promised, it ultimately took six days before an electrician arrived.

A short time later, I submitted another warranty request because the garage door remote clickers were not working. After living in our brand-new home for only 2½ months, Rebecca Lowe told us that we would need to hire a handyman to repair the issue ourselves.

Based on these experiences, I found Rebecca Lowe to be unresponsive and unwilling to provide the level of customer service I expected for a new home under warranty. My interactions with her have been extremely disappointed.

To Whom It May Concern,
I am writing this to formally document the catastrophic failure of my residence constructed by Trophy Signature Homes. My home, which is only three years old now, has been an uninhabitable nightmare since the day I received the keys. I am issuing this warning to any prospective buyers: Do Not Purchase a home from this builder!

Structural and Water Intrusion Failures
The structural integrity of this home is non-existent. We have experienced three separate, major roof leaks that have caused extensive interior damage. Despite my persistent efforts to have this resolved, I have been trapped in a perpetual cycle of back-and-forth communication between Trophy Signature Homes and their incompetent subcontractors. This "repair" process has dragged on for months, leaving my family to live in a house that is essentially a construction site rather than a home.

Health Hazards: Mold and Plumbing
The most egregious issue is the systemic plumbing failure. Our showers leak continuously behind the walls, creating an environment that has facilitated horrific mold buildup throughout the primary bathroom. Same issue with the bathroom sink. Even more distressing, we have discovered mold growth in our children’s bedrooms. This is not a maintenance issue; it is a fundamental flaw in the home's construction and waterproofing. My family’s health has been jeopardized due to the builder's negligence and refusal to provide adequate, timely repairs.

Site Development and Grading
Beyond the interior catastrophes, the exterior of the home is a disaster. The lawn grading was performed so poorly that water pools directly against the foundation during minor rain events. This improper drainage is likely the catalyst for the moisture issues that continue to plague our home's structure.

The Reality of Ownership
What should have been a dream home has become a three-year-long struggle for basic livability. The lack of accountability from Trophy Signature Homes is staggering. They prioritize closing the sale over ensuring the quality of the product, and their follow-up service is nothing more than a stalling tactic designed to frustrate homeowners into silence.
If you are currently considering a contract with Trophy Signature Homes, look elsewhere. Do not be fooled by the aesthetic finishes; the quality of construction beneath the surface is substandard, and you will likely find yourself paying the price for their shortcuts for years to come. I hope this account prevents another family from experiencing the same financial and emotional devastation that we have endured.
Regards,
A Disappointed Homeowner

If you’re considering buying a trophy home, run as far as you can in the opposite direction. They don't care about your experience. They care about doing a great job in the sales process and luring you in, before the ink is ever wet on your contract they forget about you. They no longer care. The will snake out of any warranty claim you have. This is bad news because I can promise you if I you buy a trophy home you will MANY warranty claims. Their attention to detail in the construction is non-existent. Their warranty department is a joke they are just trained to deny every claim and snake out of any agreement or contract. My house is 3 years old and the foundation is falling apart. The foundation is a nightmare. The flooring they use is pathetic. They don't know how to caulk. None of the Ethernet ports work. We had a real electrician look at our home and they were in absolute shock with how poorly everything was done. Save your self tens of thousands of dollars in repairs and stay far far far away from this company

Update they now said they will not change their mind on covering it and I got a quote to fix it. 80K , 44 piers. This is devastating to our family. We were first time home buyers, just married, 23 years old when we bought it. We are being taken advantage of and this is going to destroy us financially when they could easily just abide by the warranty. They are claiming even my swing set impedes drainage which voids the claim.
