East Coast Power Washing was founded in 2004 almost 25 years ago in Derry New Hampshire by myself. The idea came after a trip to Naples Florida in the winter of 2003. We are not a franchise but a sole proprietorship. My father George gave me the idea when we first pulled into his development and… East Coast Power Washing was founded in 2004 almost 25 years ago in Derry New Hampshire by myself. The idea came after a trip to Naples Florida in the winter of 2003. We are not a franchise but a sole proprietorship. My father George gave me the idea when we first pulled into his development and said he had his roof power washed for $400. He mentioned that the guy was washing roofs in the neighborhood all day long. I came home and researched pressure washing online and found out if it was a good idea. I left my job as manager at a collection law firm in September of 2004 and started the business in October 2004. I found a trailer I really liked on a website called Detrailers in California. Jeff Hasslebach of Detrailers built the custom trailer and came to Boston for a week to train me and my friend.
