We hired this company for a major upgrade package deal for attic insulation, new roof shingles, and all our windows. We are very happy with the final results. While there were a few minor hiccups along the way, the customer service and issue resolution process were absolutely fantastic. Best of all, everything was completed exactly at the original quoted price!

The insulation and roofing teams were fast and did excellent work, and I especially want to shout out the team that finished up the windows. Mike and Saul, you guys are awesome! You did a fantastic job making sure our house looks beautifully upgraded inside and out, and we are so happy with your efficiency, hard work, and the final results.

I will absolutely be returning to this company for future upgrades, and I highly recommend them to anyone else. If you are getting windows done, definitely ask for Mike and Saul!

We work closely with AM Group for a number of repairs and maintenance needs on behalf of Condominum owners. Andy has been great to work with, thank you!

I recently had Garrett come to my home for a roofing, siding and gutter quote. This is my first home and first time ever needing these services. I was incredibly impressed with Garretts attention to detail, professionalism and how thorough he was with his measure up. His knowledge put me at ease as my roof is quite the mission. My many questions were answered and I really felt involved. If you are looking for a roof or exterior work, call Garrett.

We worked with AM Group on two separate projects: Attic insulation through Home Depot, and window/door upgrades directly with AM Group.

The attic insulation process was smooth, well-organized, and overall satisfactory. Communication was clear and the work met expectations.

Unfortunately, our experience with the windows and doors was much more challenging and is why I likely wouldn’t use them again. Two windows were measured incorrectly and had to be reordered, which meant the installation was not completed in time for our post-energy audit. To our surprise, the front doors were also not on the approved energy-star certified program list. Both of these directly impacted our eligibility for rebates. To AM Group’s credit, they did reimburse us for the missed rebate amounts, however, this shouldn't have happened in the first place. We were also under the impression that the front door would have the selected upgrade colour on both sides, but upon arrival, we saw it was only coloured from the outside (the inside is white). We asked if there's a way to add colour to the inside and was told no, it would void the warranty, which sucks.

Referring back to the post-audit issue, the installers were aware of our timeline yet worked very short hours each day. The Friday before our Tuesday audit deadline, with more than half of the windows still remaining, they told us they "only work until noon on Fridays." Because of this, management had to double up the crew the following week on the last two days, which the original crew expressed to us made them upset as they didn't like working with those other workers. Well, they sure weren't kidding. The main installer was constantly ridiculing the other workers for every small thing, and with my HR background, I really wanted to step in and say that it was unacceptable to treat coworkers with that belittling demeanour. If I worked with someone treating me the way that person was, I would walk off the job. It was disappointing to witness, especially in my home.

It also seems work ended up getting rushed as we had a noticeable gap in our patio door install (see photo), and it was like that for weeks until they came back to install the delayed windows. The patio door still currently screeches but having them come back feels like it'll be a big deal, and I don't want the poor behaviour in my home again.

Installation scheduling was also very frustrating. While weather-related delays are understandable, we were not notified in advance on multiple occasions. We took days off work and waited at home only for no one to show up and no communication from the company, resulting in multiple days of wasted time and productivity.

Further, the window installation crew was unprofessional, specifically the main person. They openly argued and yelled at each other throughout the job, which could be overheard on our phone and video calls. Installers also spoke negatively about management to us as customers, which was uncomfortable and inappropriate.

I expressed all of these concerns with AM Group. No meaningful effort was made to address or make up for the poor communication and customer service issues. The contrast between the attic insulation experience and the window/door project was noticeable. I suspect the insulation process ran more smoothly because it was tied to their Home Depot contract.

Overall, mixed experience. 2 stars for acceptable attic insulation, but lost 3 stars due to the window and door installation that fell short in professionalism, communication, and reliability. We were planning to use AM Group for a large home addition project, but have since decided against it.

Contract signed and deposit paid to install Tuff Dek, install to be 6 weeks later. A few days prior to install we called with a question for the salesman, left several messages and finally got a call back from the office TWO DAYS prior to scheduled install.
They told us our material choice was discontinued and they did not have it for the install!!
We had paid two guys to take down our glass railings and move everything off the deck three days earlier. And hired them to come back the day after install to put the railings back up as we had 14 people, including kids, coming for Thanksgiving dinner the next day.
What a disaster - and no, they would not offer a discount to switch to an in stock colour (and the colour they had was totally not going to work for us anyway, but we were desperate).
Absolutely do not put your trust in these people.

Be weary of the 5 star reviews set on repeat.
AM roofing, where to start....
Well I started with calling them for a new home I purchased to make sure my steel roof was all good and to quote new skylight installs.
After a 2 hour presentation that I had to go thru like a timeshare I was convinced that my attic needed to be insulated, new skylights needed to be done (a total of 4), attic venting needed to be done and then installing of snow stoppers.
Original bill was in the ballpark of 24g, a little steep but new home and wanted everything done properly.
I ended up going another route with the attic insulation as I wanted spray foam.
After the installation crew got here I was told the roof venting could not be done due to the strapping on the steel tiles.
So I had 4 skylights replaced and snow stoppers installed around the entire house..
Skylight started leaking almost instantly first winter as soon as there was some snow accumulation. They came back out and had a look, put more silicone or something.
Nope still leaking, they came back out a second time, did something else.
Nope still leaking, told now that it was condensation and that finishing the trim inside the skylight would fix the issue.
So now after paying to have skylights installed I have to rent scaffolding to finish their job on the inside 18 feet up. Guess what, still leaking.
And one of them is not straight.
Now the snow stoppers, 80% of them ripped rite off the roof first winter leaving massive holes in my steel roof large enough to get a finger into. They were just screwed into the thin metal tiles and nothing solid underneath.
Called them a few times and never returned my messages.
I finally called the installers personal phone and was told they would come out next week. That was 4 weeks ago.
They also damaged my brand new eaves through and left all the extra screws and trash in them.
I now have a water leak in my attic. Damaged trim with the skylights. And I keep buckets on the floor to catch the water leak to protect the hardwood floors. I have now had to ask another company to come out to replace all the damaged steel tiles.
I will be taking them to small claims court for the repairs and damages to the roof since they refuse to make this rite after chasing them for 2 years.
My roof looks terrible.
I would strongly suggest you look elsewhere for your roof replacement or repair. My roof and skylights are in worse condition now compared to the condition they were in prior to their work.
