I went into Petland today for some new fish. Owning fish for 15 years and also having worked in a pet store, I knew exactly what I wanted. I wanted six neon tetras, that's it, nothing crazy. Instead I got a lecture about nitrogen cycles and healthy tank bacteria, which I knew about already. I could not get a word in! The sales associate would not sell me the fish I wanted. I understand that you want to ensure your pets are going to a nice home, but don't bully me.

Pet Parade was much cleaner and more positive. Although their selection is smaller, they are now my new pet store, as I won't go back to Petland.
