Michel was great with training, helped me out with my shooting and the results showed. Will be taking classes with him going forward. Nice convenience for him to do some of his classes at 5 Star firearms in Zion. Would definitely recommend him to anyone looking for renewals or any other training (he offers a wide variety of training)!

I took a private class with Mike and he took the time to pick at every error I made and showed me how to correct them. For the price of the lesson and how much I learned I saved tons of money. The amount of ammunition I would have wasted on my own trying to learn myself would have far exceeded the cost of the lesson. If you want to take marksmanship to the next level I highly recommend looking into his skills and drills classes as well as his other classes as well. You learn a lot, challenge yourself, and have a good time while you are at it.

I have taken numerous classes from Red Dot Arms since 2022. They have great instructors and they make firearm safety a priority. The team of instructors are first rate and extremely knowledgeable. Over the past few years, their team has taught me several new skills that has made me a better shooter and instructor. These are skills that I can pass onto my own students. I highly recommend stopping by Red Dot Arms and take a class. They do a fantastic job of teaching and making you feel comfortable.

Red Dot Arms is a great place to take classes and learn. I took my CCL class in 2020
with Steve and Mike. They are very informative and not afraid to answer questions that you have. When on the range, they are very alert and make sure that everyone is safe and that everyone does their very best. If you are not sure what to do, they will come over and help you. I will be taking more classes in the future.

I’ve been to multiple classes for instructors. Both Mike and Steve were extremely easy to follow and understand both the text book and physical live fire drills. They have an offsite range a few minutes away to go and take the qualification tests. While they are strict (and it’s a good thing for everyone there) they were very organized in how all 16 of us were there for multiple shooting drills required to achieve the credentials or certificates being sought after. With a large group they had other multiple other range officers and instructors working with the groups to get the best posture, handling and overall target acquisition.
I can say it was a great experience and will certainly be back for other courses. Thanks for a great experience!

Red Dot Arms is a great place to learn about and to get your CCL for Illinois residents. It is also known for taking any type of pistol classes to help learn more about firearms as well as maintenance on them. You can also take your CCL classes with Red Dot Arms at 5-Star Firearms Academy and use their state of the art firing ranges inside when the weather outside is not so favorable.
