I went to this pet value because i couldn’t find the My Fun Place in the plaza, so I went inside to ask for help. My sister opened the door for me and my mom and he was immediately rude, asking us to close the door without even entering. I asked him for help and he told me there was a door on the side of the store. I thought the door was inside the store (stupid i know) but then he yelled “It’s outside what’s wrong with you?”, and I gave him the meanest stare and I just left. This displayed his character and horrible customer service. Do not come here.

I frequent this location to spoil my two French bulldog puppies.
The owners are brothers and are really nice guys. Always a conversation to be had when visiting the store.
The only comment that I have to make that’s negative would be more so against the company and not the individual store.
I find if you’re into spoiling your dogs and giving them one ingredient type treats Like recycled pieces of other animals and bones with flavour right up to deer antlers they’re extremely expensive and there’s never often a sale that I’ve seen.
Once in a while, you’ll see something come in the mail, but I haven’t seen anything in respect to the more quality trees they have in the store.
Pet value should offer coupon booklets and charge the customer so that they feel the loyalty to continue and return and not shop elsewhere for more competitive prices. Or at least offer a customer loyalty program or stamp card to save a percentage. These days you have to be competitive and I don’t find that this chain offers any discount of Sortsless I’m missing something.

A little hard to find the correct bag of dog food since very similar looking bags are beside each other. For example, the rice and chicken large breed is beside the rice and chicken large breed sr which is beside the rice and chicken large breed puppy and the signs are sometimes in the wrong place and the bags all look similar. Very easy to grab the wrong bag which is what we did once. The performatrim ultra was beside the performatrim prime but both were chicken & rice and looked similar. Some clearer signage would help but the staff are always very helpful and polite!

My daughter purchased a ferret at this location. She purchased a ferret and was told that the ferret was about 3 months old. We went to a vet for a health checkup in the days following and we were told that the ferret was almost a year old with some mild gingivitis. We were surprised as we were told that the ferret was a baby. We went back to the store and spoke to the owner who sold us the ferret. We asked for some of the money to be refunded to us as the ferret was almost a year old. The owner said that we could return the ferret in exchange for a new one but we were already attached to this one. After several weeks going back and forth we were able to come to an agreement and the owner compensated us with products, from his store, of up to $250. We felt this was fair and we were happy with the outcome.

Made a purchase of 3 bags of dog food. The 2 of the bags were marked 50%. While talking to the cashier,bi didn't notice they did not give us the discount. We went back and asked if we could get store credit from this error and we're told we could on our next purchase. The man informed us that he would tell the other staff (his brother) of the discount. When we went back we were told (by the brother) that he could not give us that discount and would only give us $13 dollars off (the original 50% would have been closer to $60-$80). This was just a bad experience and poor customer service. I acknowledge my mistake in the beginning but will be taking my business to another location from now on
