Good place, employees are sometimes unhelpful but I went on saturday and had "Cole" from the shoe section, he was alone on his shift yet was incredibly kind and helpful despite having 4 others he was trying to help as well. Cole is a great man and you guys are lucky to have him.

I had a great experience in the shoe department a couple weeks ago. I cannot remember his name, but there was a young man who helped me with discussing and trying on a variety of sneakers—he explained the pros and cons of the different brands and was incredibly helpful! Great customer service!

Thought I’d make a quick stop to check out their baseball bats, but I ended up getting distracted by almost everything in here!! Of course I had to try out all their football gloves while somebody threw a couple passes, and had to test out every single basketball they had. Then went on to play some golf in their little indoor putting green area, moved on to the fitness area to hit some bicep curls with their dumbbells and then tried out a couple bikes!

After all that I was kinda tired so we chilled on their nice chairs that they got there for camping or whatever, we wanted to check out some BB guns but we were told that the gun department was shut down a couple yrs ago in that location and the closest location that still had such a department was a long while away, so we called it a day and headed out, I had forgotten what I had originally come for— a bat! I guess I have good reason to go back and enjoy their activities once more!!

My friend need an inflatable mattress Dicks was running a sale had it low price. I don't usually shop a Dick but we went to get it. Then had two pay 3x the amount of mattress for a pump that was incorrectly priced on shelf. We immediately after realized and turned around and returned it. We went a purchased a hand pump some where else. That evening pump the bed and friend slept on it but awoke to a de-flated mattress. We went right back to the store it return it. After being asked what was wrong with it. Our response was it apparently has a leak and what to return it. The rude employyee said he can not return it because the box was open. Never looked at receipt ,that he just purchased it the day before and it came broken. Not everybody is trying to scam you but it's not right to pay for something you can not use...I will stick to buying things from Amazon they would have returned his money for faulty product or at least replaced it immediately with another one...that wasn't even suggested.

Not only is Phil the most knowledgeable and experienced bicycle aficionado in Central PA(and most likely the entire USA) but a more interesting, caring, and customer focused individual you will never meet! Golf department customer service phone etiquette was horrible. I called in to speak to the golf department, and the call went downhill from there. What a terrible experience. I asked to be transferred to the golf Department. The golf department person, Cadon, seemed to struggle with taking instructions. After 12 minutes in three phone calls later mission not accomplice. What is going on with the customer service at Dick's Sporting Goods?

Bought my kid a $100 baseball glove. Told me they’d help me break it in steaming it. Then tried to charge me $20 for STEAM! Everything is crazy overpriced. Selection is terrible. Worst sporting goods store I’ve ever been in. Will be sticking with dunhams from now on.

Have been here several times and I can say that I am never completely satisfied from the customer service standpoint. Latest visit I went shortly after opening so store was less crowded and everyone’s priorities were focused on stocking items. Was in the shoe department initially helped but then left alone with no check ins. I saw another gentleman walking around it for minimum 5 minutes and still no one asked him if he needed help.

Tons of things in the store for all types of activities but if they had a competitor then I would definitely check them out.

I hope they start doing better.

Three people were pretty rude to us, and basically tried to kick us out of the store at the last minute because it was just a few minutes past closing. I’ve worked in retail before, and we always tried to help people find things which is the fastest way to help them leave. Really disappointed.

Went to pick up shoes. Couldn't find any assistance to get the size we wanted. They had one guy running around for the entire shoes section who ignored us. We placed a request on the one machine they had available - and that request was never fulfilled. Finally we walked out without purchasing - we'll buy from another retailer, thanks very much. (and then they wonder why people shop online)

I recently visited Dick’s Sporting Goods in search of something simple: a pair of water shoes. What I expected was friendly, knowledgeable staff who could guide me to the right product or at least point me in the right direction. What I got was an appalling display of indifference and rudeness that has ensured I will never spend another dime at this store.

Upon approaching the staff for assistance, I was met with cold, disinterested stares. When I asked if they had water shoes, their response was a curt “No” without the slightest effort to suggest alternatives, check inventory, or even direct me to another section of the store. It felt as though I was an inconvenience just for asking.

The lack of basic customer service didn’t stop there. The staff looked at me as though I had ten heads, as if my request was absurd. Their dismissive attitude made it abundantly clear that they had no interest in helping me or ensuring I left the store satisfied. The experience was demeaning, frustrating, and the polar opposite of what any customer deserves.

I left the store empty-handed and insulted, vowing never to return. Customer service is the cornerstone of any successful business, and Dick’s Sporting Goods failed spectacularly. If they don’t want to treat customers with respect, they won’t have to worry about me—or anyone I share this story with—contributing to their bottom line.

There are plenty of other retailers who value their customers, and I’ll happily give them my business instead. As for Dick’s Sporting Goods? They’ve lost a customer for life. Good Luck with your existence. 0 Stars

My son and I went here yesterday around 10 am when they opened. He needed to get some shoes for wrestling. There was a young man late teens that was very helpful with getting our shoes. He was running around back and forth and had dark brown hair. I thanked him for his help before we left!

today i went into this store for the first time ever with my friend around 5pm we went in there and bought a stanley cup after we paid for the cup we had to go to use the bathroom than we left after that at like 7pm my friend went back to exchange the cup for another color than the manger that's working at that time is going to ask her
"where is your friend" mind you that's none of her business my friend says "she's at home" than she goes and accuses me of stealing the cup because i walked out of the bathroom and went to the exist with the cup in my hand and my friend literally shows her the receipt and who checked us out not only that but she also while my friend was exchanging the cups the manger and another employee were standing by the exist with their hands crossed thinking my friend is going to steal something that was no way to treat a customer?! like who does that

Great service from Finn in the weight department! Outstanding help. Best customer service I've ever had. I don't know what they pay him, but it should be doubled!
