I don't normally leave bad reviews, but this place absolutely deserves one.
We checked into this hotel while visiting Beaumont, and the problems started the minute we walked into our first room. There was no shower curtain, no shower head mounted on the wall—just a handheld sprayer hanging from the handicap grab bar—and the A/C wouldn't cool below 74 degrees. We went to the front desk, and the manager actually came up to the room because he didn't believe us until he saw it himself. They moved us to another room.
And mold in the bathroom...don't want to forget about the mold!
At first we thought everything was fine. We dropped off our bags and went to dinner. When we came back and started getting settled in, we realized just how bad the room really was.
The floor was so slimy my feet literally slid apart while I was standing there. The bedding looked dirty and worn out. Maybe it had been washed, maybe it hadn't, but it definitely didn't look clean. The whole room smelled like someone had tried to cover up marijuana with strong floor cleaner. Honestly, that smell was throughout much of the hotel.
Then we started noticing everything else.
The deadbolt on the connecting door to the next room didn't work, so we ended up pushing furniture in front of it because we didn't feel safe. One of the outside entrance doors was broken and wouldn't latch, so it couldn't even be locked after hours. Anyone could have walked into the building.
There were no knobs on the stove. Previous guests had left food and wrappers behind. There was even a hole in the wall between our room and the next one.
And then we saw the roaches.
That was it. We packed our things and went straight to the front desk. I explained everything that was wrong and told them we were leaving. The only response I got was, "No refunds." Over and over. We had paid cash, but apparently none of the problems mattered.
We left, found another hotel just a few minutes away, and the difference was unbelievable. It was clean, smelled fresh, and we actually felt comfortable staying there.
I've stayed in budget hotels before. I don't expect perfection. But I do expect a clean room, a working shower, doors that lock, and a hotel that isn't dealing with roaches. This place failed on every one of those.
Save yourself the frustration and stay somewhere else. Let my $$$ loss be your guide to another hotel.

I stayed here for about three months for work, and I want to make it clear that the manager and the other employees were great to deal with. They were professional and respectful. The problem at this property is Toby.
During my stay, his attitude was consistently bad, his communication skills were poor, and the way he treated guests was unprofessional. My employees noticed it too and were dissatisfied with his behavior. I also personally observed him getting into repeated negative interactions with other guests, including one situation involving a woman staying there with children that was completely unacceptable.
Ownership needs to understand that this issue is bad for business. When one employee repeatedly treats people poorly, it damages the reputation of the entire property. Because of that, I would advise any company sending workers from out of town not to book this location until this problem is fixed.

DISASTER. đź’Ą
I Reserved on a travel app, A HANDICAP ACCESSIBLE ROOM, NO SMOKING, ON THE FIRST FLOOR OR NEAR THE ELEVATOR. I RECEIVED NONE OF THIS! When I checked in I asked the clerk if there was a handicap accessible shower in the room. He said yes there is a shower. I should have asked again. There was not a shower, there was a bathtub and it was not accessible for someone with medical equipment. Also the room was supposed to be a no smoking room. When I walked in, the smoke hit me in the face and my eyes burned. Thank God I brought my own shower chair, vaporizer and breathing machine. I basically had to set the shower chair outside of the bathtub and just lean in to take a shower. If there was not a handicap accessible room available even though that's what I paid for the clerk should have called nearby hotels and got in the same rate on a hotel refunded my money so I could go somewhere else that I could use. This room is basically not usable and was a waste of money. The only thing was the mattress was halfway decent. Many holes in the walls and unexplained dirt.

Not as cheap as you'd think.
They offer a kitchenette, yet nothing to use with it unless you pay an extra fee. It isn't obvious that you'll have to pay one until you get there, so don't expect to use the kitchenette without buying cookware and utensils.
The bed was creaky and lumpy and just downright uncomfortable. I couldn't sleep more than 5 hours before it just became too much. The curtains near the bed didn't work correctly so the sun came down and woke me up several times.
The smoking room I stayed in had tar stains on the walls and smelled really strongly of stale cigarettes. The lamps didn't work and there were things and stains inside the light fixtures.
The pool is an included amenity and despite it being summer, it's locked and green colored.
The wifi is basically non-existent, and I wouldn't have been able to use it if I didn't specifically go down to ask for the code. When I did the hostess gave me attitude about it.
Speaking of, the wait staff is just not helpful. They locked me out of my room before I checked out and wanted me to hunt down housekeeping to open my door. I had to search and not find anyone before the woman tried to help me.
The TV didn't work almost at all, as well as the remote. Fun fact, the brand of TV they picked actually has a common problem with their motherboards and shorts out after a couple of years of use. The front desk said they'd send someone to look at it, but that never happened.
So all in all the price may be cheap, but you won't even get shampoo to wash your hair. They barely offer any kind of actual extended stay amenities. It's almost a scam, but you do get a room to sleep in at least.
Stay away and spend a few extra bucks to have an actually enjoyable time.
