I would NOT recommend this company! They are TERRIBLE!
They allowed a tenant to move-in without putting the water bill in their name. Then they left me to pay the $6,000.00 water bill after the tenants were gone. They failed to properly "manage" the property!

Additionally, they hired a plumbing company to "fix" a water leak but failed to inspect the work to see if it was actually fixed (which it wasn't)! The water leaked for SEVERAL MONTHS before I discovered it.

It appears that they are only concerned with collecting their portion of the rent! Trust me ... don't use them! They're TERRIBLE

This is the WORST property management company ever !!! They charge extra ridiculous fees that does nothing for the tenants and they take a long time for maintenance ! It took 1 whole year to get some electrical outlets replaced in my kitchen. And now I have a piece of flashing from the side of the house still laying on the ground that has never been put back on. I told them about it 5 months ago and they still haven't fixed it. Also the electricity in my detached garage quit working. I told them about this 2 months ago and it's still not fixed ! 😡. I hope my landlord fires them ! They don't care because they have 500 houses. So one less house will be no big deal for them !! Also I tried to pay my rent today on November 5th because this is the last day to pay without a late fee. When I went online to pay have a $155.00 late fee attached to my rent plus a $75.00 court cost fee!!!! I was shocked because I'm not paying late !!! I paid on the 5th last month like I always do and it was fine. Plus they charge you $9.95 just to pay online ,because that's the only way you can pay now. They also charge $9.50 per month for renters insurance if you don't have it and $35 for some kind of residential package fee. THIS is horrible.

I have been renting a property managed by Gatekeepers Rental for several months now, and I feel compelled to share my experience regarding their customer service.

While I appreciate the property itself, I have encountered significant challenges with the office staff. Each time I attempt to reach out for assistance, I have found the receptionist, Kim, to be exceptionally rude and unhelpful. Recently, I inquired about a $15 charge for renter's insurance that I already have, but rather than resolving the issue, I was met with a dismissive attitude. It’s not just about the money; it’s the principle of fair treatment that matters.

As someone who works in property management, I understand that tenants often have questions. My own tenants ask me questions daily, and I never respond with rudeness or hostility. It's disappointing to see this level of customer service from a company that should prioritize its tenants.

Despite my attempts to have this matter addressed, including requesting a call from the office manager, I have yet to receive any follow-up. I currently reside in one of their managed properties and have the contact information for one of the investors, but I would prefer to resolve this through the proper channels.

I hope that Gatekeepers Rental can improve their customer service and communication to better support their tenants moving forward.

South Atlanta Rental Company recently took over the management of our property, and so far, the experience has been positive. Transitioning to new management can be challenging, but they have been professional, responsive, and willing to work with tenants. Their team has been helpful in addressing concerns, and I appreciate their efforts in making this process smooth. Looking forward to continuing a great rental experience under their management!

so far so good with gatekeeper! my family recently moved into one of the properties right after the holidays. everything from scheduling tours, to signing the lease was extremely smooth! the ladies at the office are always available and email communication with Donna is absolutely amazing! I love great communication and they absolutely have that at Gatekeeper! We are very happy with the home and look forward to growing our family here.
