Very disappointed. Ordered from this location at 11:45am and the chicken was not fresh. Biscuits was not fresh. At this time frame you would think that everything for lunch would be freshly cooked. Wasn’t sure of what I wanted to order at drive thur and the cashier was very rude and seemed irritated. The cole slaw and rice was delicious. The young lady that gave me my food was friendly and smiling. I’m from the South and live in Maryland now. Drove 40 minutes to visit this Bojangles. I don’t think I will return. My food total was $32 and some change. Not worth it and with the drive.

I only get Bojangles a few times every few years. This trip was my first since 2020. I was super excited as I started my cross country trip. I stopped at this Bojangles in Western PA and it was everything I expected it to be. The chicken biscuit with egg is my all time favorite. It was fresh and hot and if course the biscuit was buttery and scrumptious. I also had a Suasage biscuit as sort of dessert 😂 I wish there was a Bojangles in WA or OR.

IT’S BO TIME!

Our daughter is a very picky eater, and this particular Bojangles is hands-down her favorite restaurant—which says a lot.

Every visit, the food is hot, fresh, and consistent. Our orders are almost always spot-on, and on the rare occasion something is slightly off, the staff handles it immediately without hesitation.

As a family, we’re very selective about where we eat due to past experiences with food safety, so finding a place we can truly trust is huge. This Bojangles has become our go-to “safe spot,” and a big reason for that is the store manager.

When she’s there, the whole place feels different—in the best way. She leads with kindness, confidence, and genuine care. You can see how she supports her team, coaches them, and empowers them to lead. It’s the kind of leadership that stands out and makes a lasting impression.

The dining area is always clean, the kitchen appears well-maintained, and the service is quick but still relaxed and welcoming. Nothing ever feels like it’s been sitting around—everything tastes fresh and made with care.

Bojangles should be incredibly proud to have a manager like her. She’s a big part of why we keep coming back.

Food was hot, fresh and good (fry seasoning is a little salty...needs ketchup, fry sauce or something to balance it out). Service was super fast and the AI drive thru experience went better than expected. I'd really give 3.5 stars if I could. My only complaint is value...for $11+ the combos should include a beverage.

If I need something quick and satisfying while on the go, Bojangles is consistently one of my top choices. While it’s a chain, the quality never feels mass-produced—the chicken is always fresh, juicy, and served piping hot. The Cajun seasoning on the fries adds a fun, flavorful kick that really sets them apart. I also appreciate the drink selection, especially having both Sierra Mist and Dr Pepper available, which not every Bojangles location offers. It’s great to have a taste of Southern fast food right in the heart of Frederick.

This particular location is well maintained, clean, and staffed by friendly, welcoming employees. Occasionally, there’s a short wait in the drive-through if a new batch of chicken is being prepared, but that only reinforces their commitment to serving food fresh—and it’s well worth the wait.

My only real critique is the AI-driven order system in the drive-through. While you can request to speak with a team member, the automated system tends to misunderstand orders and can be frustrating to use at times. Thankfully, the staff is quick to step in and help when needed.

With a Raising Cane’s reportedly coming to replace the old Applebee’s nearby, it’ll be interesting to compare the two. That said, Bojangles has already set a high bar when it comes to fast, flavorful chicken done right.
