I rented an apartment on 13th Street from Schulhof from 2013-2016. On more than one occasion I thought I smelled gas coming from my stove. When I contacted the leasing office with my concerns, I was dismissed.

Before my lease ended, I began to experience hallucinations and night terrors, to the degree that my neighbor, the building manager, called the police for a wellness check.

The scariest thing about night terrors is that you might not remember them, so when I answered the door in the early hours and spoke with MPD officers who came to check on me, I had no recollection.

General advice: if you suspect a gas leak, call the fire department, not the landlord.

If I could give Schulhof Properties 11 out of 5 stars, I would. I have had a truly exceptional experience living here and interacting with the entire staff. From Deb in the office, to Katie in leasing, to Dan in maintenance, they consistently go above and beyond, prioritizing the needs of their tenants. Whenever I have needed to contact maintenance (not often), they have arrived at my apartment within TEN minutes. The neighbors (friends) I have made while living here are truly remarkable. Words cannot begin to describe the utmost appreciation I have for this company and everyone involved. I have lived in numerous apartments throughout the country for years, and Schulhof, by far, takes the cake. I wish Schulhof Properties were located in every city!

This management company only cares about money. Have not met a simple person that has had a pleasurable experience with them. I should’ve read the recent reviews before ever considering them. Ended up having to file a complaint with DATCP.

My son, a uwm student, applied for a place with my husband as co-signor. However, our application was denied due to my husband's insufficient credit score. We offered to have my older son as co-signor, who had been co-signor for previous rentals without any issues. But the owner refused to even consider. People need to understand one bad apple does not make the whole basket bad.

I'm staying in Apartment 523 managed by Schulhof Property Management, and it was truly a beautiful and lovely experience. The apartment itself was not only aesthetically pleasing but also incredibly comfortable, making it feel like a home away from home. The management team was attentive and responsive, addressing any concerns promptly. I appreciated the well-maintained facilities and the overall peaceful atmosphere of the complex. Thanks to Schulhof Property Management's commitment to excellence in apartment living.

I have rented from Schulhof going on three years now. The rent is very reasonable and the location is perfect for being a Marquette student. They have been great in responding to questions or maintenance requests, and the staff I have met have always been so nice. Would definitely recommend Schulhof to any Marquette student looking for a good, affordable apartment.

I have been living at an apartment building owned by Schulhof Property Management for the past 2 years and have loved it. The office and staff are quick to respond to my emails, maintenance concerns and general questions I have had while living here. There is a wide range of properties they own that you can find what you are looking for. Highly recommend renting from Schulhof properties compared to other landlords, especially if you want to live alone.

Great property to live in and great management. Everyone I’ve come in contact with has been kind and willing to help to the best of their ability. They made the application and move-in process seamless and on-site management was able to answer any remaining questions day of. Schulhof is also great in that they offer a variety of locations that are within walking distance of the Marquette Campus!

I have lived at the Patrician for the past 3 years and it's the best value around. Maintenance is prompt and communication with management has been easy. The apartments here have a lot of old-school charm without being run-down. Great landscaping. A really unique cozy feel I have had no real issues at any point, very comfortable set-up. Would recommend!

The property is a good one with excellent amenities. The environment is clean, and the security architecture is top-notch. Staying in this apartment gives me a sense of value for the rent being paid every month. One of the things I appreciate about Schulhof Property Management is its effective responsiveness to issues in order to give tenants a good experience. Overall, I've been having a very good experience with the company.

I have been living in Campus Court in a one bedroom and so far I love it. I think on Marquette's campus, this building gives so much space for a great price. Maintenance is responsive to any service requests I have made. The building is safe and clean, I hear them vacuuming the hallways and every morning they clean the front room and water plants. Easy place to make homey and I truly love living here. It is also an amazing location if you are a Marquette student because it is close to campus!

Their locations on Marquette's campus are fantastic! I have been a tenant for over a year now, and my experience has been great! The staff is very helpful and always took care of any issues I had right away. The apartments are well maintained and the location is very safe. Being on Marquette's campus makes this location very walkable which is a huge benefit!

Absolutely love renting through Schulhof! I’ve been renting my first solo apartment through them for a bit over half a year now, and I couldn’t be happier! The rent is cheaper than when I shared a three bedroom with roommates, and I feel completely safe and secure in the locked building! Would definitely recommend!

epairs are always done in a timely manner which is much appreciated. Once we did not have any hot water and I called my apartment manager (Alex) and he immediately tried to fix the issue, despite it being the weekend. Alex is really great, super responsive and understanding of issues tenants may have.

The unit itself in Maryland Court is nice and spacious. We ended up getting a great deal on the place after some confusion with our first choice for apartments, so it was great that they were able to rectify the situation and give us a discount for the trouble. We really enjoy the natural light in the building and the old architecture. My favorite part is the original counsel we have in the dining room, very pretty and convenient ! Despite the age of the unit, we have never once had issues with pests or anything of the sort. Photos are the view from our 3rd floor unit in the dining room. I love to just sit and drink coffee in the dining room on sunny mornings, the view is so gorgeous.

Schulhof Property Management was an amazing place to live this year! From the beginning of my move in day all the staff have been very friendly and helped with anything I needed. Throughout the year, the maintenance team have always been in my apartment building doing what they can. They are really nice people and always stop to have a conversation and ask if you need anything. I had a question once and the man came to my apartment and explained the issue I was having. I was very impressed. They communicate any issues via email and reply very efficiently. Overall, I would highly recommend living in any Schulhof property as you will be well looked after!
