Dr. Rahman is a fantastic provider, and I genuinely enjoyed having her as my primary care physician. Unfortunately, due to a series of frustrating experiences with the practice itself, I will be switching providers and cannot recommend this clinic.

The issues began in March when I requested an in-person appointment to discuss potentially needed labs. Despite clearly stating I wanted an in-person visit and being given the choice between in-person and virtual at the time of scheduling, I was informed the day before my appointment that it had been changed to a virtual visit. When I asked why, I was told the doctor had decided the topic didn't require an in-person appointment and that virtual would be "easier." My original preference was never acknowledged or honored, so I cancelled out of frustration. I also cancelled a pre-booked 2027 annual visit, as I had since learned I would be out of state at that time and planned to reschedule once I had a chance to cool down.

Some time later, I needed copies of my labs from the past several years as reference material for an oncologist I am now seeing. When I went to access my patient portal, I discovered my account had been deactivated with no prior notice or communication from the clinic whatsoever.

I called on May 8th and left a voicemail requesting my medical records and notifying them I would be looking for a new provider. I never received a callback, email, or any other response. When I followed up today, I was told I could either bring in a thumb drive to receive my records at no cost or pay a fee to have them faxed, and that my portal had been deactivated because a note from my May 8th voicemail indicated I was requesting records for a new provider.

The problems with this explanation are twofold: (1) they clearly received my message but never called me back, and (2) my portal had already been deactivated before that call. The only reason I called on May 8th in the first place was because I had just discovered I could no longer access my account. To their credit, they were ultimately able to send me the lab results I needed.

None of this needed to happen. A simple phone call when I cancelled my appointments, rather than immediately deactivating my account and never returning my voicemail, would have resolved everything, and I would still happily be a patient of Dr. Rahman's today.

If responsive communication and respect for your appointment preferences matter to you, I would not recommend this clinic.

Dr. Sophia Rahman is an exceptional physician with outstanding bedside manner. I have confidently recommended her to many family members and friends. She is highly knowledgeable, thorough, and truly attentive to every detail.

What sets her practice apart is the convenience of having both aesthetic and weight management services available in one place, eliminating the need to see multiple providers.

I highly recommend Dr. Rahman. Her office is efficiently run by Jennifer and April. Wait time is never long in the office, and communication can be done on-line when needed. Dr. Rahman always listens to questions and concerns during visits, and I never feel rushed. I just completed a year of successful weight loss with her guidance, and throughout that year she monitored my health closely and ensured I had all the help I needed. Thank you Dr. Rahman and Jennifer and April!

I just completed my sixth session of hair growth therapy with Dr. Rahman, and I couldn't be happier with the results! From the very first appointment, Dr. Rahman was incredibly attentive to my needs, patient, and informative throughout the entire process. I saw Dr. Rahman a couple weeks ago and she was very attentive towards me and compassionate when I discussed my health concerns. I went in with health worries and felt relieved with the options she discussed with me. I think anyone seeing her will see how sincere and knowledgeable she is in her field, and how motivated she is to help her patients.

I had an extremely disappointing experience at this clinic. I went in due to a severe wrist pain after a fall. The doctor barely acknowledged me, and immediately questioned why I was there. When i explained my wrist was in significant pain she did not bother to look at it, did not touch/examine it, seemed like she had nothing to do with asking about my condition, and she recommended a CT scan and an X-ray. When I opted for just the CT scan, she accused me of bringing my “doctor”husband who isn't even a doctor, he had come for moral support and was asked to wait outside.

To make matters worse, when I mentioned I also had a cough, she stood up in frustration and told me she doesn’t see patients with a cough in person—only via video calls. She became visibly upset, implying no one told her I had a cough. When I mentioned I have been coughing from 2 weeks with phlegm, she immediately said I can take antibiotics. I was suddenly left feeling dismissed and uncared for.

Doesn’t end here; I went out and made the payment, the receptionist (April) then informed me that the clinic would not be proceeding with any further care, including the CT scan or prescribing antibiotics, and that I did not mention the cough on my intake form, which is not true. I circled yes for cough! When I asked to see the form, the receptionist claimed she had already disregarded it, leaving me with no proof of what I had written. She then refunded my payment and said we are done. No recipients were given.

The entire interaction felt unprofessional, dismissive, and frankly, unethical. Dr Sophia did not take my health concerns seriously. No one should have to go through this kind of treatment. I hope this doctor and clinic take accountability and reassess their approach to patient care.

I tried Dr. Rahman first to find a doctor for my whole family after relocating from another state. My visit was great and she seemed very knowledgeable and listened well to my concerns before giving sound advice. We have found our doctor!

Amazing first appointment establishing Dr. Rahman as my PCP! She took her time with me, really dove into my health history, and she clearly cares about her patients and her work. Highly recommend. The office and nurse staff are incredibly friendly and knowledgeable as well.
