Dentist Smitha Manoj deserves to be investigated for being extremely unprofessional had a braces appointment at 12:30 they made me wait until 1:05 to tell me that the dentist couldn’t make it because of “personal issues” this appointment was confirmed this morning by text and the dentist was not even there. Extremely unprofessional behaviour when you call them out the dentist likes to say that every braces appointment takes 1 hr I have waited 1+ hours multiple times and had to leave after this place is the absolute worst if I hadn’t started my treatment here I would never go here I will also be reporting the dentist to RCDSO.

UPDATE: They read my review and are refusing to book me in for my appointment the manager has not contacted me at all I needed an emergency appointment for the braces that’s bothering me and making my mouth bleed to be cut and they refused and are also hanging up on my calls… this shows a lot about the management.

If I could give this place negative stars I would. Do not go here, they do not value your time at all, all the other reviews are lying telling you these people are professional before you come here do your research read the 1 star reviews I should have done that too because they are correct after just 4 braces visits they increased my wait time to 1 hour the dentist Smitha Manoj is the absolute worst she takes 3 patients at the same time makes people wait 1+ hours. For something that takes her 15 minutes to do, I have schedule being free for 2 hours just for a braces appointment which takes no longer than 10 if the dentist is available. If you come in for your appointment they tell that the dentist is not here she is on her way here, why has the dentist not arrived and you guys are giving out appointments. Absolutely ridiculous they have no decorum of time or respect for clients do not waste your money at this place.

Do not come here unless you enjoy wasting your time!!! The dentist and secretary are very unorganized with wait times of a minimum of 1 hour even with appointment. The clinic claims to have emergency service available but will still book you in 2 weeks time. The male secretary barely speaks any English on top of that. You’re better off finding a better dentist with better service.

I recently visited Polaris Dental and was impressed with the flexibility on scheduling appointment and the care given at the clinic for my mom. Dr. Smitha Manoj attended my mom with utmost care. My mom had some trouble adjusting for the x-ray, but the doctor and the attendant patiently took efforts to get it done correctly and without discomfort. Mom came out happy from the clinic and looking forward to the follow up appointment required.
Really appreciate and will surely visit again !

Do not go here. I had a root canal done here and it was the most painful experience of my life. It was infected and they did not prescribe antibiotics beforehand. They did prescribe antibiotics after the procedure, but the prescription was for something I am allergic to, despite giving them this information when I registered and when told the dentist personally following the procedure. I was supposed to have a crown put on 2-3 weeks after the root canal. They never called. When I followed up, they said something about my insurance not answering them and said they would follow up with the insurance provider. A week later I still haven't heard anything. I called again and was told "I will call you back in 2 minutes".

I contacted this clinic with a severe toothache in one of my lower molars and was relieved to get a same-day appointment. The clinic is conveniently located in downtown Brampton, with public parking available right across the street. However from inside, space felt a bit cramped up.

Here’s a summary of my experience:

- I was initially assessed by a general dentist.

- X-rays were taken, and a pplroot canal was recommended.

- I was referred to a visiting specialist within the same clinic.

- Pain medication was prescribed, but no antibiotics were given.

- I received a treatment estimate (I do not have insurance).

- Scheduled a follow-up appointment with the specialist for the procedure.

- On the day of the procedure, I was quoted a price 18% higher than the originally stated maximum estimate.

- When I raised concerns, I was told I could get it done elsewhere — which felt dismissive, especially given the pain I was in.

- Ultimately, I chose not to proceed with the treatment there.

P.S. After a few more days of discomfort, I found another clinic with better facilities, more attentive staff, and a skilled general dentist who performed the root canal successfully — without needing a specialist. They also prescribed antibiotics, which helped significantly with the pain before the procedure was done, and the total cost was about 25% less than what was quoted here.

**Awful Experience – Avoid Dr. Smitha's #Worst of Worst Dr.Smitha Manoj

Let me just say, I had zero faith in this clinic after my experience. Dr. Smitha was more than an hour late, and I’m left wondering how they manage to stay in business with such blatant disregard for patients’ time. I honestly suspect the glowing reviews are nothing more than fake hype, because my experience was a far cry from what was promised.

Sure, the receptionist was friendly and did her best to keep the situation from completely falling apart, but let’s be real here – what good is a nice receptionist when the actual doctor can’t respect your time? It’s the doctor who matters, not the person at the front desk. I didn’t come to see her, I came to see Dr. Smitha, who couldn’t even be bothered to show up on time.

Save yourself the hassle and look elsewhere. This place doesn’t seem to care about its patients at all..

DO NOT GO HERE FOR ANY REASON. Absolutely unreasonable, inconsiderate, horrendous time managed business. Every single one of my appointments have had me waiting HOURS in the waiting room. Today I had an appointment at 6:45. I was only treated up until 8:45, for a 5 MINUTE task. The manager had even tried to gaslight me with the words of what my own mother had felt about them, when she was not even there because she did not want to see them again! Do not waste your time coming here, it’ll save you the time, money, and hassle.

If I could give 0 I would. Bullying that they contacted me numerous times to change appointment, when they texted the wrong number and said they called my home number when there was no messages from them on my machine.
I came to the appt. at scheduled time and they wanted me to come another day. Of course these people who think their time is more important than anyone else’s on the planet. Receptionist lied and said the dentist would now see me and I waited over an hour in the chair.
Another appt. and the dentist was stuck in traffic for over an hour. One of the other poor reviews mentioned the stuck in traffic excuse.
Was told because I told them in a mannered way the office was unethical and unprofessional and I was disappointed. They then refused to do the work.
Thank goodness because they wanted to upcharge me for two cavities I did not have before they did the whitening. I went to my regular dentist who had my X-rays from a couple a months ago and I did not have any cavities. BEWARE. A friend who is a dentist told me some dentists will push to do work you don’t really need.

I recently visited this dental office and was disappointed with the service I received. Specifically, the female receptionist was unprofessional and rude. Despite having an emergency situation, I was told to have my dentist contact them for my x-rays, which resulted in multiple phone calls and hang-ups. It took five hours to receive the necessary documents, which raises concerns about the office's regard for patient well-being. I would not recommend this office.

Great staff! Dentist is very thorough. The only issue I have is that I’m usually waiting 30-40 minutes after my scheduled appointment time for the dentist to arrive. Usually the dentist is “stuck in traffic”. Otherwise I would give 5 stars!
