Our server was so nice, attentive and informative specially about the spiciness and the portions of the food. Which we appreciate it since we did wanted to try more than one thing. It was our first tike and the the wonton in chilli oil was delish, the dan dan noodles are def a most but the cumin chicken rocked my world, this is a very personal thing given that I love cumin as a seasoning so if you do not have the same taste buds please don’t order things to complain and hurt the restaurant by writing bad reviews about. They are doing an amazing job serving and food quality wise. We will def be back for drinks and more dishes. Great gem in the neighborhood!

Delicious Kung pao chicken that tasted authentic and not like the Americanized sweetness. Beans are okay, didn’t taste as fresh and definitely could’ve had more flavor. But the chicken really made it great overall!

I strongly prefer Spicy Moon for Sichuan but Han Dynasty on the Upper West Side is a reasonable back up. Their menu is above average in vegan friendliness with vegetarian dishes clearly indicated. They do a fine job of altering spice level, which is accurately noted on the menu, and upon request can switch out sauces and/or animal protein to fried floured tofu. If your waitstaff does not assist you, ask for the manager. Most of the employees are helpful. Their prices are extremely reasonable especially when you consider, they are family portions! The sauces are rich. All the food has been average to above average in quality except for the mung bean noodles, which would be much better hot without sesame seeds and small crunchy, celery tasting leaks (bleck) but the sauce would still fall flat. I would refrain from ordering that dish.
The dining room is classicly designed, spacious and comfortable.

Found this place near a friend’s house in the early afternoon and was seated right away. We tried some noodles, pork buns, dumplings, etc. The buns were okay - tad bland. Dumplings and noodles were soo good though.

Everything we ordered was very good and tasty. The red spice level numbers in the food descriptions were much tamer than we'd have expected, so anyone into spicy food should divide those numbers in half. The lo mein was nice and medium firm. Service was friendly and very quick. This and the East Village location are good places to eat.
