Just recently moved into the area but the gym is very welcoming. Every member of the nexus gym I met, spoke very highly of the gym, kids and adult programs and the impact it is making in the community. I would definitely recommend to swing by and give nexus gym a try

My friend whose family are all long time members insisted we bring my energetic 4 year old in for a free trial. He LOVED it. The coaches were great with helping him feel welcome and included. They allowed him to borrow a gi so he could participate. Coach Amanda was very warm but firm, which is the kind of leadership he needs. Coach Grace spent a lot of time making sure he was using the right techniques and feeling accomplished. They nurtured his energy and helped him focus it. We are excited to bring him back!

Took my very first beginner class and it was amazing. Nick was a great instructor and did a great job explaining and demonstrating everything. It was such a positive environment and so much fun! 10 out of 10 would highly recommend!

Walking into Nexus, I had zero experience with jiu-jitsu and was honestly pretty nervous. That feeling didn’t last long. From the coaches to everyone training there, people are very welcoming, patient, and always willing to help. I have noticed that I’m a lot more confident in myself since starting Nexus AJJ. Evan has been awesome throughout the whole process, always checking in, answering my questions, and making sure I had everything I needed to succeed from day one.

One of the things that has stood out to me the most is the positive, family-friendly environment. You can tell the coaches genuinely care about their students. Because of that, I already know I’ll be bringing my kids here once they’re old enough to train. I can’t recommend Nexus enough, especially if you’re brand new to jiu-jitsu and looking for a place where you’ll feel welcomed from day one.

We just recently had our son try his first class and he absolutely loved it! The teachers/coaches are kind and the kids were so welcoming to him, knowing it was his first time ever trying jiu jitsu. Evan(who helped us at the front desk) was super helpful, answered all the questions we had, explained how everything worked and really made us feel comfortable. Super happy we picked Nexus to test out Jiu Jitsu and look forward to going back!
