We drive an hour to try out a different mini golf course and go-karts. While the mini golf was extremely well maintained, priced fairly, and was a perfect balance of challenging and easy. Good for our whole family ranging from age 4 to adult. The one downside is that there is very limited shade, and the drink vending machine was sold out that is stationed halfway through. All in all, not bad. Then it came to to go-karts. For our family of 4 drivers and 1 passenger it was $43 for just 1 race. DEFINITELY NOT WORTH IT! we went in and the go-karts were so incredibly slow. I seriously could have ran faster then these cars went and im a little over weight, so thats not very fast... You ever see the movie of snails racing? Yep, thats what it was like, except before they got thier powers. we got off and the guy said it was on level 1. Like, did we have a choice, we would have gone faster! So we definitely will not be returning for go-karts. Adventure sports goes even faster then those did with a way better track! Save your money and go there!

We’ve been bringing our kids here for years, and they’ve always loved it no matter their age. It can get pretty busy at times and a bit overwhelming, but overall we’ve always had a good experience.

This past Saturday we came in on a rainy day and purchased several activities. We spent time going between the arcade and events and kept trying to time the next available entry, but kept just missing the 15-minute window. When we finally made it back right on time, we were told our kids would still have to wait about another half hour.

Unfortunately, we had to leave because we had other plans. It was frustrating not knowing earlier that there would still be a long wait after arriving on time.

That said, this is the only issue we’ve ever had after many visits. The facility is always clean, very kid-friendly, and we do genuinely enjoy coming here as a family.

Great place for a full day of entertainment. Putt-putt golf has a 18 holes course which is nautical themed. Indoor Laser tag is cool for a big group and can be hours of entertainment by itself if you do it multiple times. Many arcade games to win tickets and prizes at. Indoor bowling is also there. They have Go-Kart another major attraction but karts don't go so fast and has uphill section and kills the fun but good for young kids.
They have a food court too where you can get coffee, beverages, burgers, sandwiches, pizza, fries, etc all fresh made.
If you want a sweet treat they have cookies, Ice cream and Rita's frozen treats which might be a crowd favorite.

Plenty of parking and it is free. Close to Hanover City and plenty of shopping places or restaurants.

Pro-tip: get the day pass which gives you unlimited Putt-putt golf, go karting and laser tag.

Staff are usually decent. Had a few bday parties there and two were great; one was terrible with our host. Seemed liked she hated her job and life. Games are mostly ticket games for cheap prizes that you can get for cheap from Amazon. Go kart is fun if the outside is open and if there aren’t younger kids in your group that restrict the speed. Kids like the play area so thats about it. Food for the parties is a terrible. The pizza is frozen boxed pizza and terrible. Most of the other stuff here tastes the same way. They at least have Rita’s which is about the only thing good thing to order

Me and my family had a blast at hickory falls including go carts, VR, and laser tag. The only complaints we had is that the food is awful if the food was better and had a larger variety it would be much better. Pizza came out cold and was definitely some of the worst I’ve had. wings had no flavor and tasted like they were heated up in a microwave. On the bright side Rita’s was great can’t go wrong with that.

Honestly had high hopes for this place, but it just did not deliver. The kids had fun which is the only reason I gave 3 stars. This was our first time here and probably last time. The staff was not helpful, they did not pay attention to customers when another employee was around. The attractions were ok, but the place is kind of small for all that they offer. Arcade is outrageous, games super expensive. Food was meh, besides the Rita's. Just overall for all they hype we heard about it, it was disappointing.

We've always enjoyed this place. It's clean and well maintained. On our most recent visit, we did have an issue with a game that kept saying we didn't have enough credit on the game card to play, yet it kept deducting the money. It was very frustrating and I'm sure they have people that try to cheat and say the game took their money and didn't let them play all the time. I didn't expect they'd believe me but I wanted them to know it was a problem. The staff member gave us a partial credit so we tried it again and it happened a second time. Again I informed the same worker and he gave us a partial credit. It was only a small amount which isn't a big deal but I was bothered that he watched us walk back to the game and immediately return so he knew we hadn't played. If he believed us enough to give us any credit then he should have given us the full credit that was taken twice. More importantly I wanted him to go check the machine or at least acknowledge that there was a problem and he would have someone check it, which he didn't do. I'm sure they hear this kind of thing all the time so I understand him being skeptical but I really just wanted him to acknowledge that this was not a kid trying to pull something. And he watched us run the card and come right back. He should have at least said he would report it. However, we've never had an issue like this in years so I hope this review will prompt them to consider that not everyone who reports a problem is lying to get more games. Otherwise, we love this place.

We have family that lived in this area, but are now in Wyoming. Every time they visit, they want to go to Hickory Falls. The kiddos just love it here. We visited August 8, 2025 and when we arrived the kiddos were very disappointed that the virtual realty was not working. After leaving, I expressed our disappointment to the facility and they are compensating us for some of the money spent. We are yearly flyers at this facility and spend several hundreds of dollars, so we are very pleased that they are willing to provide some type of compensation. Kudos to you Hickory Falls! The facility is clean, the employees are nice and we love that we can. bring our lunch and eat it outside. It surely saves when it is 5 that we are paying for and a total of 8 in attendance. WE always get the all day pass and arcade cards so that the kiddos can do whatever they want. We had a fun visit!

It's a great place for the family or a date night with a loved one. They have a great and fun mini golf course. Inside there is laser tag couse,crazy fun for all ages. The workers are very helpful with all games and events. The virtual reality games are very fun,the staff walks you through things.Upstairs they have two lanes bowling.Also they have a awesome go kart track,lots of fun. Definitely planning on visiting again.

My family visited for my sons 3rd birthday recently and I have to say I was thoroughly impressed! There is plenty to do all in one place, the food was great and inexpensive with a ritas on site, you can use leftover money on your game card towards food and I noticed employees cleaning the handles on arcade game during the day. We went on a Friday school day at opening day which wasn't at all crowded of course. The only reason I couldn't give a full 5 stars is because the play area does look quite dirty but hey, there's plenty other things to do and the rest of the facility looked very clean. Otherwise, a few of the employees upon entering didn't speak and weren't the friendliest but others were quite welcoming and helpful. All in all we'll certainly be back and will just avoid the youngsters play area.

I took my son there with two of his friends yesterday for his birthday. I was incredibly impressed with the amazing staff! They were mostly younger people, and they were courteous, respectful, and hard-working. The space was very clean and my kids had an amazing time!

Hickory Falls isn’t the right fit for my family, but I know many people love this kind of place, so I want to highlight the positives first.

Positives:

The staff here is fantastic—every person we encountered was polite, kind, and welcoming. Special mention to the team at the entrance, front desk, and food service—they were all top-notch and truly deserve 5 stars.

The facility was well-maintained, even in winter. The exterior looked great, and I didn’t notice any trash inside or outside.

If you prefer a less crowded experience, timing matters. We arrived on a Sunday before noon, and it was relatively calm, but by early afternoon, it got significantly busier. I imagine Saturdays are even more packed.

Negatives (or things to consider for families like ours):

Two of our four go-kart ride tickets went unused because the passenger karts stopped working, and our little one was too small to ride alone.

The overall atmosphere is high-energy—lots of blinking lights, screens, and noise, with little opportunity for a quieter escape (unless you step outside). If your family enjoys a more relaxed setting, this might not be the best fit.

The indoor play area felt safe and sturdy, but it showed noticeable wear and dirt, which is understandable for a high-traffic space like this. Like most indoor jungle gyms, deep cleaning is a challenge, and to me, it looked quite dirty. The webbing material resembled seatbelts, with rope or plastic-threaded twine, which naturally collects dirt over time, even with kids removing their shoes. I also found the area darker than expected—my toddler was initially intimidated and took a while to warm up to it.

We ended up here for a friend’s birthday party, but personally, we’d opt for a playground, a hike, or backyard playtime over this kind of environment. If your family enjoys high-energy entertainment centers, you’ll probably have a great time. If you prefer a slower pace, you may want to explore other options.

I bring my nieces and nephew here when I come to visit. It is a lot of fun for them but expensive.
Each activity is expensive and the arcade is ridiculously expensive. So as long as you know what to expect and aren't blind-sided you will have fun!
The staff are always nice.
The only issue I had was the group of 8 I had could not ride go-carts all at once because they would only let 6 cars ride at a time. She said it was state regulation but I think it was just to try to keep the line moving. I was disappointed because I hadn't seen my nieces and nephew for a year and my cousins for over 3 years and we spent so much money to race gocarts together
They also let many birthday parties ride before us even though they weren't in line
So we waited a long time.

Miniature golf was really fun. My wife and I have played here a few times and always enjoyed it. I believe they moved the hole placement, which keeps it fresh. There are some stairs, but they also let you skip the stairs and play holes over if you can't do them. They have a decent snack bar and a Rita's Italian ice on site, which is nice. Everyone seemed to be having a good time on the go carts and arcade. So if you like miniature golf or have kiddos who need something fun to do, hickory falls will fit the bill.

Great place, well maintained. A bit busy and rather medium sized but given it's location that's alright.
However a bit pricey is the junk food if you are choosing to eat. You can also choose to pay with credit card for 3.5% extra if I remember correctly. Since you can't bring your own food or drink or leave and return it's best to "water your plants" before coming.
Very clean as far as I can tell.
I also like that so many young people are being offered a job here. Overall very pleased and the 80 minute drive was worth it.
With healthier and more affordable food and drink options this place would be 5 stars.

Great place to go with the family! Lots of fun for everyone from arcade games to mini golf to go karts. Everything is well kept and well maintained. The mini golf course was beautifully decorated and fun! They were really busy when we were there but everyone was super respectful about waiting for those ahead of them to play thru which made it more enjoyable in the busyness to play. There are steps for some of the courses but if you are handicapped and can’t do steps they do have a handicap route around so you’ll want to follow the signs. It was a great experience and I would recommend them! I would return myself when I get back to Hanover!

Fun place to spend a whole day with the family!! Mini golf, go karts, VR, laser tag, arcade and a kids play area. The staff was very friendly and helpful in answering all my questions. They have multiple options to save by bundling the activities together. We did the all day unlimited pass for the kids and they loved it!

One thing to note is that there is a service fee if you pay with CC. So if you want to save a little money bring cash.
