Goodness the poutine was so good, great long cheese curds. The Big Rudy Burger had nice fresh onions and beef was tasty. Big portions. Price is expensive but thats college street prices. Would definitely visit again in the future. Meal comes out to $30 for the Big Rudy large poutine and drink.

The burgers are so good. The classic Rudy is the way to go. Fresh ingredients all around. Their brownies are so good too. Heavy and chocolate flavour is so rich. Poutines are spot on too. Staff are amazing. Kitchen is very fast. No credit card surcharge. Clean dining room and clean kitchen. You can see right in there.

Prices are a little high for the portion.

This is a really good smash burger spot. Soft bun, fresh ingredients, overall a good burger. Also had a poutine but that did not stand out as much. I would recommend RUDY instead of going to bigger chain restaurants.

The Big Rudy was very filling! Bun was very soft and multilayered as well. Sauces are delicious, heavy on the oil when grilled but gives a really nice crispy texture. Staff is very professional and forgiving, even cleaned up after me and a group of 8 friends.

On today’s episode of TokTok made me try it, Rudy’s was a great dine in experience! Simon was so nice and attentive. He recommended the Rude Dude & the Big Rudy which is what we tried and the food was amazing! I definitely understand the hype!

I went in to this store to pick up Uber order, and I found the short girl working in this store very disappointing, unprofessional and disrespectful. The way she talks is so rude. She doesn’t know how to use polite words at all or she is totally trying to annoying couriers/ customers. It seems she doesn’t care much for the sustainability of the business.
Having lived in this neighborhood for a long time , I know Rudy has a good reputation of its exceptional burgers except such an offensive individual working right there is destroying the good image of this store.

Love Rudy! I've been here on multiple occasions and their smashburgers always have the same good quality. The patty is really flat and has nice crispy edges. It's just a good, well made burger. Execution on point. Their fries also remind of Mcdonald's, thin shoestring style with lots of salt! Yum!

Consistency is what is important and Rudy delivers every time on the cook.

FOR SURE ONE OF THE BEST BURGER PLACES IN TORONTO — everything tasted so FRESH and it felt like SO MUCH CARE had gone into everything, it was ALL SO GOOD !!!!

the holly jolly valentino made me feel like i was literally EATING christmas – it was basically a hot crispy-fried peppery piece of chicken lying on a bed of super mushy savoury stuffing, with hints of sweet, tart cranberry sauce. it seriously tasted to festive and holiday-like, and i absolutely LOVED it.

the crudy was ABSOLUTELY PHENOMENAL – it was a sloppy, messy, DELICIOUS cheeseburger that was just DROWNING in perfectly fragrant, aromatic, caramelized onions that had a slight crunch. the smashed patties were REALLY crispy and had such a distinct, beefy, smoky flavour and it just absolutely MELTED in your mouth, along with all the gooey cheesiness. the bun was alsO super soft, and honestly the whole thing was just so MELTY that it was literally like falling apart in my hands?? it was super juicy and kinda greasy like too, the way the oil kinda seeped through the paper.

the fries were simple but also so perfect, honestly exemplifying “fast food fries” as a side. they were long and thin (my favourite kind) and crispy, perfectly seasoned with salt, and didn’t have a super heavy or greasy potato flavour – overall very light, and a bit like mcdonald’s but in the best way possible. so so so addicting, especially dipped in that creamy, mayo-y valentino sauce.

the pickle chips were also unique, and as someone who doesn’t really like pickles, i really appreciated how the tangy pickle taste wasn’t too strong. the outside breading was thick and some were crispier than others, but i think it was because they were freshly fried and didn’t have time to “crisp up” fully yet. still a super fantastic snack (a lot like thick chips???), and definitely get either the valentino or rudy sauce to dip it in.

last but DEFINITELY DEFINITELY NOT LEAST, THE BANANA PUDDING!!!!! UGH this was so good, the way that it was creamy but also super thick and not too sweet AT ALL — the custard or large chunks of banana weren’t sickeningly sweet somehow, and there was SO MUCH CRUMBLE LAYERED AND SPRINKLED ALL THROUGHOUT which i absolutely LOVEDDDD. its also quite a large cup too!

I recently visited Rudy’s for a burger and fries and found the experience to be pleasant, though not remarkable. Used to be good but now the guys making food use the same gloves to cash out and prepare your fries… poutine was okay with gravy that tastes watered down and missing flavor. Fries could be crispier. The double burger was great and nicely crispy and seared. Must get the double patty with melted cheese and definitely recommend eating it fresh!

Lovely restaurant. my takeout order 4453 was a joke. Asked upon arrival (20mins after order if it was ready. nope, still making it. ok. no problem. 10 min later i ask is it ready yet. yes its here. great and i walk away with my cold bag. Now im home and a damn burger is missing. I dont give crap reviews. This one is well deserved. I left a message on their answering machine. I hope my complaint is addressed. If not I call Visa on Monday. I eat out a lot and was looking forward to trying these burgers as 2 of my co-workers love it. I dont. Rudys refunder my order. They have addressed my concern and i am now changing my review to 5 stars.

Rudy Restaurant just blew me away! The smashed burgers were insanely good—crispy edges, juicy center, and packed with flavor. You can tell they use fresh, quality ingredients. Highly recommend this spot! I got the Rudy burger, fried pickles and a strawberry shake. All were very tasty. I just wish there was a dipping sauce for the pickles!

Rudy is getting too expensive. I remember it was a quick & cheap eat late at night after having a night out on college or in the clubbing district back when I was in the undergrad. The quality of the food is still consistent doe - the smash burdger is still top tier in the game, and the shoestring fries are irresistible. But then almost 20 dollars for these two? I'm not so sure.

I got the Valentino and it was pretty good but it was missing something (maybe a sauce) to really elevate it. It wasn’t greasy though, which was nice. Very fresh. There was some sort of white sauce that was given as a fry dip which was actually my favorite part. Sadly it took a very long time to get my order, but the girls were nice. I wasn’t mad about the sandwich, but I don’t think I’ll go back, there are better chicken sandwiches out there. There is a fair amount of seating, but the music inside the place is quite loud. So you might want to get it as takeout.

Very simple Burger, not much flavor to the beef patty, its also very very thin. It's cool that its open until 4 am on the weekends. However, I don't think I would be returning as the Burger was underwhelming.

Absolutely phenomenal Burgers. I could have cleared 5 Rudys without a sweat. Their fries are McDonalds clones but I ain't complaining (even taste better). I also had their vanilla milkshakes which hit the sweet treat spot just right 👌

Their burgers are great! Just like the ones from shake shack & Rosie’s (Toronto). But their fries are mid - looks like the frozen store bought ones. I would still prefer rosies if i had the chance, but i would still go back here because of the location & hours. 👍

I’ve already been to Rudy on Duncan St by Queen W. I had the Big Rudy with a coke. Came to $20.34. Looked great and the burger was good. I felt the smash patties were too crispy to the point they were almost burned, but still nice. Decent burger
