I had such a wonderful experience at DMZ Salon! ✨ From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was welcoming, positive, and full of great energy. The vibes in the salon were AMAZING, and everyone made me feel comfortable and taken care of.

A special shoutout to my stylist, Liyu! She was absolutely amazing—professional, talented, attentive, and really listened to what I wanted. I’m so happy with my hair and the overall experience.

Liyu did the best flipover sew in I’ve ever had! I was very comfortable through the whole process, she didn’t braid my very fragile hair super tight & checked in to make sure I was okay throughout the whole service. It’s a true flip over, my tracks are completely covered by just a small amount of leave out. I always wash my hair after a curly sew ins just to define the curls and as I brushed through I felt how secure the tracks were sewn in. Will ONLY be coming to DMZ for my curly sew ins from now on

Don't waste your money. I just needed a quick cut as I always do my own hair but don't know how to cut hair. I went to this salon because it had great google reviews but I think their google reviews are fake because there is no way. Customer service is horrible. Kept getting passed around between different stylists even though I had an appointment. The lady blowdrying my hair did not know how to blow-dry hair. She literally held the blow dry sideways. I have never seen this before in my life. I had to take the blowdryer and blow-dry the hair myself. Many who then did my silk press did a poor job. You know the quality of silk press by how well the hair is blowdries so I knew this silk press was going to be terrible with the low quality blow dry. She did not use a heat protectant before straightening and literally made so many passes I had to tell her to stop because she was going to heat damage my hair. I came in for a hair cut but to leave without one because they would have made a mess of my hair if I let them cut it. I paid them for the deep condition and poor blow-dry and "silk press" and left. I got my hair cut elsewhere. I would give zero stars if it was possible.

I went to DMZ Salon today and got a side-part sew-in with my Burmese curly hair. The lady who did my hair was very nice, and she took her time washing, blow-drying, and braiding down my hair. My hair came out so beautiful! I will definitely be back to get another sew-in or a blowout. Mary, the owner, was very welcoming and made sure I was okay throughout my service.
