JJ Salon is wonderful! Both Jenny and Joey were so kind and accommodating. Jenny did an amazing job with my husband’s perm and haircut. Definitely would recommend to anyone who is interested in Asian/Korean style perms and haircuts.

First time going to JJ Hair Salon yesterday and am very impressed with the quality of their service and the cleanliess and organization of the environment. I initially went for a perm and haircut but honestly did not know what to do for my hair to get it styled the way I wanted to. Ms. Jenny was great in that aspect in understanding exactly what I wanted and styling my hair just the way I had imagined. Also gave me clear, follow-up instructions on how to manage my hair at home. I am only rating this place a 4 because it's my first time here, but I will definitely be coming back in the future.

This is our first time visiting JJ Salon! We met Jenny and her husband. Both very sweet and friendly! My son got a perm and hair cut with Jenny! It’s exactly what he wanted. I naturally have very straight, strong hair, so perms don’t hold easily. I had a bad experience at another salon before, which kept me from getting a perm for almost 10 years. Eventually, my hair got too long, so I looked for a place to try again and found this salon.
After getting my perm here, I received a lot of compliments—people kept asking where I got it done, and everyone said it looked great. Since then, I’ve only come back to this salon for my perms.
Thank you for always taking care of my detailed requests with a bright smile. The prices are affordable, and I’m always very satisfied with the results!

This is still my go-to hair salon after six years of living here. I have tried other places but they just don’t know how to cut my wavy hair. I will stick with Jenni forever. She first cut my hair after I got a terrible cut at PR at Partners in Alexandria. I went to Jenni desperate for help and she fixed my hair. I can’t risk going anywhere else. Happy that they got a new place! It is really nice. Thank you J and J!

This place is very good for KOREAN MEN haircuts. They executed a 2 block flawlessly - and I'm sure they know other korean styles based on it as well.

I have been struggling to find a place that actually listens when you ask them to keep it long. They always say they understand and then start shearing the entire base. This place ACTUALLY listens, and the result photo is evidence of that.

I am extremely satisfied with the haircut and I would like to emphasize that they are still an AFFORDABLE option for men haircuts (30$) at the time of this review.

I will definitely be returning in the future.

Friendly staff but unfortunately subpar haircut. The male stylist is in his fifties (mom & dad shop) and not carefully attentive in his cutting. I showed a photo of my previous haircut. However the cut I got was much shorter that prevents much styling. What was truly disappointing is that upon asking for slight change, the stylist got defensive and wasn’t accommodating.

$35 for male cut, $60 for woman cut.

Jenny was a wonderful hair stylist! I dyed my hair and got a bob cut. I have really thick hair and I haven’t dyed it in a while. Jenny worked on me for 4 hours to bleach my hair, give it an ashy grey color, tone it, and then gave me a perfect bob cut. I will definitely be back for another haircut! Wonderful people!

I recently visited JJ Hair Salon at their new location, and I was really impressed. The new salon is clean and spacious, creating a comfortable atmosphere.

Before coming here, my hair was difficult to manage and I relied on my Air wrap for styling, which wasn’t easy to do every day. I decided to get a perm, and the stylist gave me exactly the kind of natural curls I wanted. The result looks great and makes daily styling so much easier.

The staff are kind, and the prices are very reasonable. I’ve decided this will be my go-to salon from now on. Highly recommend!

I've gotten my hair dyed and cut at JJ salon multiple times and every time I'm amazed with the results! Jenny is so skilled and always makes sure you're happy with the end product! Jenny is an absolute lifesaver! I made the mistake of going to a different hairdresser, and they completely ruined my hair. My husband got a perm from Jenny and she did an amazing job. We were looking to add some volume to his hair and make it easier to style. This was his first perm so he was very nervous she was patient and made the recommendation on the size. The results are great, we will definitely be back again!
