I’ve been coming to NEO Coffee Bar Yonge x Gloucester since it opened, and it is truly my favourite coffee place🤍

A very special thank you to Sunhee! She is always so kind and welcoming, she makes amazing coffee! My son especially loves when Sunhee makes his babyccino, and it always makes our visit feel special.

I also want to thank Rachel, who is always lovely and also makes great coffee. And a special thank you to Angel, the supervisor, for keeping the service so good and the cafe so clean, organized, and welcoming.

The coffee here is always delicious — smooth, soft, and never burnt. The desserts are great too. Thank you to the whole team for creating such a warm and pleasant place to come back to.

Neo Coffee Bar is a fantastic addition to Toronto's Gay Village. The service is always friendly, the beverages are excellent, and the treats are absolutely delicious. If you visit, the mochi and matcha latte are must-tries....they were so good! During the summer, the patio has an amazing vibe, making it the perfect spot to relax, people watch, and enjoy a great coffee. I'll definitely be back.

I can honestly say NEO Coffee Bar is one of the most enjoyable café experiences in Toronto.

From the moment you walk in, the space feels stylish, cozy, and effortlessly inviting — the kind of place where you instantly want to sit down and stay awhile.

Absolutely excellent. Smooth, rich, and perfectly crafted with a beautiful balance of espresso and milk. Every sip feels comforting and high quality.

Just as impressive. Vibrant, creamy, and not overly sweet — you can really taste the quality of the matcha. It’s refreshing yet soothing at the same time.

🍰 Pastries
Fresh, soft, and incredibly delicious. You can tell they’re made with care — perfect pairing with any drink on the menu.

Surprisingly great as well. Clean, aromatic, and well-prepared — not an afterthought like in many cafés.

I stopped by NEO Coffee Bar at Yonge and Gloucester and really enjoyed it overall. The Americano was smooth and strong without being bitter, and the chocolate croissant was super flaky, buttery, and rich. It definitely hit the spot.
Just a heads up though, this place gets busy and finding a seat can be a bit of a mission. The layout feels a little tight, so it is not the best spot if you are planning a long catch up with a friend. It feels more like a come in solo, grab a coffee, and relax for a bit kind of place.
If you can, try going during the warmer months when the patio is open because the extra seating makes a big difference.
I would give it 4 out of 5 stars. Great coffee and pastries, just a bit cramped inside.

Absolutely phenomenal. Smooth, vibrant, and perfectly balanced not overly sweet, not bitter. You can tell they use high-quality matcha. It’s rich, creamy, and comforting in every sip.

☁️ Cloud Nine Latte

This drink truly lives up to its name. Light, silky, and beautifully layered. It feels indulgent without being heavy. Easily one of the most unique and delicious lattes I’ve had in the city.

The staff are genuinely friendly and welcoming not just polite, but warm. They create an inviting environment that makes you feel like a regular even on your first visit.

🚻 Washroom (Yes, it deserves its own mention!)

Hands down, the best washroom in Toronto for this type of café. Clean, modern, spacious, and clearly well maintained which says a lot about the pride they take in their space overall.

The absolute game-changer? Their no-laptop policy. Because of this, you can actually find a table. No fighting for seating, no rows of screens taking over the space just people enjoying coffee, conversation, and the vibe. It makes such a difference and keeps the energy exactly how a café should feel.

If you’re anywhere near Yonge Street and want incredible drinks, great vibes, accessible seating, and top-tier service, NEO Coffee Bar is a must-visit.
