A cozy spot for Japanese inspired cafe. The hojicha tea latte was very nice and had a definite roasted flavour. There were several vegetarian snack options like matcha cookies. The cafe allows phones but not laptops or tablets but works well as a social spot for a small group of two. The pricing was a bit higher than expected. Staff were efficient.

The staff were friendly and kind, the barista taking my order was patient and asked about drink size, milk type and if I wanted my drink sweetened which I appreciated.

I got the berry matcha latte and the matcha cookie, both were quite tasty and the drink was well made, but nothing extremely amazing that made me crave more or want it again.

They do not accept cash, so you must ensure you have credit or debit!

You can get wifi access for 1 hour. The tables are very small and there isnt much space for a laptop/tablet and a drink, so I used the other stool to place my drink and plate. However, there is outside seating with larger tables if you need more space.

You grab your own (paper) straw and lids from the side, and the bathroom has a passcode, which is fine, the staff again were very kind and approachable when I needed the code!

This is such a cute cafe. I wish they had more seating and space. The chai tea latte has a less stronger taste in comparison to Starbucks chai. It had a more ‘milk’ taste. I luv the cakes here & the staff r so nice.

This place is almost impossible to get a seat and is always busy, but it's no surprise the baristas always make great coffee. I've never had a cappuccino, latte, or matcha latte served without a nice, hearty late art . So it's not a bad thing that it's always packed; it's a nice place, the desserts are okay, but the drinks are the real stars.

The service was absolutely wonderful the staff were kind, friendly, and made the experience feel warm and welcoming. The coffee was quite good, though the pastry wasn’t quite to my taste. Still, I’d definitely go back and try something different next time. The atmosphere and hospitality make it worth another visit!

Second time visiting this café and it’s consistently great. The coffee is excellent with beautiful latte art, and the food is fresh and tasty. The atmosphere is calm and comfortable. Definitely a place I would come back to again. Highly recommended.

I was really excited to try the matcha latte, but it wasn’t as creamy as I had hoped. I’d give the hot matcha latte a 6/10.
The berry matcha latte was similar in texture and flavour. Personally, I wouldn’t recommend it to someone who’s a big Starbucks matcha fan. I’d rate it a 5/10.
That said, the pastry was absolutely delicious — definitely a 10/10!

Ambience of the coffee shop is nice. Matcha and the matcha cake were good. I like they are able to do really nice latte art. But its super pricey. 2 coffees and a pastry will run you 20 bucks

Have been here a bunch of times, though it’s been a while since my last visit. Things might have changed, considering the influx of 1-star reviews…anyway.

Their drinks and baked goods are reliably fresh, tasty, and reasonably priced. They usually have a GF muffin, but no DF/vegan pastries. Very limited savoury food items, I think they have a sandwich or two? Non-dairy milks for an additional charge, as is the case with most cafes (sad). Cool seasonal offerings, they’ve got something autumnal going on right now.

The cafe is pretty and seats maybe 20 people indoors and 5-10 outside. It’s not really a cafe that invites you to stay all day though—to study or work, for example. There is free wifi but you need to reconnect every hour, and they have a no laptop policy weekday evenings and all day on the weekend. And the seats themselves aren’t too cozy. But I think Neo is great for a coffee chat, catching up with friends and family, or a brief study/work sesh. Which is what the owner is going for, I believe.

Don’t recall any issues with customer service, usually pretty friendly and clean up around the cafe promptly. Washroom is nice.

I’ve always enjoyed my visits here, but unfortunately had a disappointing experience this morning. I ordered a Large (Hot) London Fog Latte (No Foam/X-Hot). When I asked if it was no foam, the barista replied, “I did my best.” I asked because I noticed the milk wasn’t steamed long enough and there was a significant amount of foam on top. I then requested if she could remove some foam and add more milk, but was told it was too difficult to make the drink this way. While pouring, some milk also spilled onto my hand.

I understand some drinks can be more challenging to prepare, but instead of dismissing the request, asking a teammate for help would have been more professional—especially since other cafés are able to make it without issue.

I’m a coffee obsessed and I can say this is one of the best espressos I’ve had! A lots of sitting too. I think is a great place to work as well, not too much noise and perfect chill music. The place is beautiful, desserts are really good! I wish they have one location in North York so I could go every day.

Stopped by this coffee shop while visiting the city and had a lovely experience. We ordered two lattes, which were smooth, rich, and really well made. For pastries, we tried a cheese & spinach croissant and an almond butter croissant — both were absolutely spot on, fresh, and flavorful.

The service was super friendly and quick, which made the visit even more enjoyable. Prices felt a bit on the higher side (I paid 30 CAD), but since I’m just a tourist, I might not be the best judge of that.

Overall, a cozy spot with excellent coffee, delicious croissants, and great service — definitely worth a stop!

Not really great for work/study sessions as the tables are quite tiny. However, there are tons of seats available inside and outside the coffee shop. It gets quite busy though so depending on the time of the day, you might have to wait. Drinks and pastries are always good.

Expansive menu, stylishly designed interiors, quick service.

Pleased to see they had genmaicha tea on the menu and doubly pleased that the rice flavour came across strongly. Also added a dark chocolate cookie which was pretty tasty though a tad small.

They have an interesting no laptop rule at certain times and tables, so may he going for a community social vibe. Overall, an elevated coffee shop experience.

Any café with decaf options automatically gets 5 stars from me. I ordered a decaf cappuccino. Foam was nice and fluffy, though the taste leaned a bit bitter.

On a gloomy, cold late-May afternoon in Toronto, this place is perfect for curling up with a book.
Love the sign on the big shared tables that says no laptops—though the tiny solo tables allow them (but they’re pretty uncomfortable, which feels like a subtle way of saying: don’t linger too long!).

Love this space! Coffee was great , no complaint. However, I was very excited to try their matcha cookie that day but it was a little hard, felt empty when I tried to bite down on it ( if that makes sense). Im not sure if they bake their cookies the day of, but definitely different than the ones I had.
