A hidden Thai restaurant in Richmond Hill with great food and good value lunch specials.

We tried the Pad Kee Mao Chicken on the lunch special menu, it’s very delicious, generous portion, and reasonable priced.

We also tried other dishes on the Al La Carte menu. We ordered the Pu Pad Pong Karee (stir-fried soft-shell crab curry) served with steamed jasmine rice. The portion was huge and full of flavour. The Tom Yum soup was also very rich and flavorful too.

The staff were friendly, welcoming, and very pleasant. The restaurant was very tidy, with hearty cozy Thai-style decorations. Overall we had a great time here.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Had an amazing experience at this Thai restaurant in Richmond Hill! I ordered the crispy fried spicy chicken and Tom Yum soup, and both were absolutely delicious with authentic Thai flavors. I went with my coworkers and we all loved the food and the atmosphere. The service was excellent, the staff were very friendly, and everything came out fresh and tasty. Definitely a place we’ll come back to again!

First time here, came for a date night out with my partner. Seemed like a popular place and was a bit busy and then became steady afterwards. Staff seemed a bit nonchalant and could probably be a bit more friendly. Food was nice and tasty but I really feel like it was a bit limited and not so diverse in its offerings. Menu is also a bit pricier than conpared to other less popular thai restaurants. Dont get me wrong they have a full menu but I think I was just looking for some other less popular thai food to try? But again, I guess that doesntmake much sense because who wants to eat unpopular thai food? Lool! My girlfriend loved the food so we'll probably be back again and I would still recommend this place to those who like authentic Thai food to give this place a try!

e went on Friday night with our group of friends, and everyone left really satisfied. You can feel the energy of the place as soon as you walk in. It was busy, but they still seemed very organized and efficient. The food arrived hot and quickly. Everything was excellent and delicious. I don’t think the prices are too bad by Toronto standards, especially considering the portions are large. It’s an especially great restaurant to visit with friends and try different dishes together. I’d definitely recommend it.

The service is great and the food is fantastic! Their lunch happy hour menu offers affordable meals. The servings are generous and the wait staff is attentive. Second time visiting and we’re happy with what we ordered although my Fiancé asked for his food spicy and it also became a little too salty. The green curry also had a funky smell and when we looked it up it says it’s from using canned bamboo shoots but it was still delicious. The place is a little small and can get crowded but the atmosphere is great.

Overall this restaurant is a great new addition to Richmond Hill and diversifies the area more. Happy to get a new, authentic, restaurant.

5 stars for the food but I question the service. When we walk in, the waiter asks if this is the first time and we were recommended with a lot of the high end seafood dish. We decided to go with spicy chicken, pad Thai and the Khao Sok and I felt a bit odd with the waiter, almost seem disappointed that we didn't order enough food. The food was amazing and I will love to come try more items on the menu. When we check the bill, the same waiter didn't even say thank you after correcting the payment, maybe I didn't tip enough. I don't know, maybe is just 1 waiter that cause the scene while the rest of the team seems to be fine.

At first glance, this is the kind of Thai spot you might overlook. After one meal, it’s the kind you start quietly recommending to friends. The food is consistently delicious—bold, well-balanced flavours without unnecessary fuss—and impressively affordable for the quality. Inside, the décor feels authentically Thai without being overdone, creating a comfortable, unpretentious setting that keeps the focus where it belongs: on the food. We enjoyed the Pad Thai and the Pad Kee Mao and is intending on returning for more.

This was the BEST, most delicious Thai food ever. I've tried many Thai restaurants and this was the tastiest most delicious food! I gave 4* because I found it very cold inside. I will 💯 return! The Tom Yum soup was absolutely incredible!!!!

Dropped by this cozy Thai spot and tried the green papaya salad, soft-shell crab curry, tom yum soup, shrimp cakes, Thai milk tea, and mango sticky rice. Overall, everything was pretty good! The shrimp cakes weren’t as bouncy as I hoped, and the milk tea was a bit too sweet. The mango in the sticky rice was also a little underripe, but the service was great.
Tables for two were a bit tight, but I’d definitely come back to try more dishes next time!

Amazing Thai food!

Definitely can’t judge the book by the cover. This place wasn’t located at the most convenient place and it had limited parking but you will be pleased by the food.

The menu certainly has a few unique items that I have never seen before: deep fried mushrooms (金针菇), mango dessert with sticky rice (糯米饭). However I have to say I really like their green curry. It’s light but still flavourful. The mango salad was okay but it’s not the mango season when we went.

Next time I would try their dessert and the Thai drinks. Looked delicious on the menu!

We had reservations and we got seated. Server was really nice. Be nice to the staff because it is all about showing respect and kindness. We had spring rolls and satay chicken as appetizers. Both were crunchy and savory. We added a soft shell fried crab dish. Hands down it was the best. Mix it with veggies and it makes a great combination. Highly recommend the stir fried garlic beef with sticky rice. What a fantastic meal! Keep it up Jatujak!

Nice cozy place for really good tasting Thai food. Had tom yum, tom kha (wouldn't go for it again since it was quite sweet for my liking), mango salad, pad thai (mild version was requested but it was very poorly made - almost smelly so not sure what was going on - the only 4-star), sea bass (was excellent), green curry, Panang curry. Portions are pretty decent. I think the soup portions are good for 2 people (in spite of the server saying it is good for 1 so we ordered more and then ended up wasting) esp when you're having other items. The sea bass was a full fish size so that was great with the spicy/chunky sauce. For 4 adults and some kids we ended up packing sincr it was a lot of food coz we ordered more after server (Shawn?) wrongly advised to order one more main which was unnecessary. Overall decent job on flavours and portions but keep in mind they are larger than expected. Also when we got the bill, we were short-changed in error but it was quickly acknowledged with an apology, which was good.

Lemongrass chicken was indeed spicy. The eggplant delight on rice was truly delightful. The mango sticky rice and salad were both excellent. The Khao Soi was a hit and was nicely spiced. The Pu Pad Pong Karee was not to our liking. Overall, it was a good experience here.

The Thai food at Jatujak - Richmond Hill was good.

The mango salad was awesome. The mango pieces were sweet and delicious. Would definitely recommend.

The Coconut Shrimp was good. It was nice and crispy on the outside.

The Pineapple Fried Rice with Chicken was good. The fried rice and chicken were delicious. The pineapple was fresh but not as sweet as we expected.

The Pad Thai with Shrimp was good. The Pad Thai was packed with flavour goodness. Although it was a bit too wet for us. The shrimp was perfectly cooked and delicious.

The Thai Iced Milk Tea was awesome. It had the perfect combo of Thai tea, milk and sweetness. Would definitely recommend.

This was a great experience and the amount of food was more than we expected. The two of us got a papaya salad, pad Thai, and a seafood curry which was good enough for 2 days lunch.

The food was great and tasty. One of the better authentic Thai places in GTA. Might be on the more expensive, but it’s worth it.

Our family arrived at 11:30 AM on Sunday and only sat for about 10 minutes before we could see how popular this restaurant is in the community. Non-stop customers came in for takeout, and by noon, the place was packed.
The ingredients are fresh, the portions are generous, and the environment is cozy. The service is excellent, and the prices are reasonable. Highly recommended👍👍👍👍👍

Listen folks, I love Thai food, the problem is I haven't found a place that calls out to me, urging me to return - UNTIL NOW!

First time at Jatujak and we were blown away!

Let's start with the servers - super friendly and accommodating, we got there just before it got busy (make reservations!!) and they let us switch tables because it was a bit drafty by the window. Then they helped us decide what we would like from the menu. Once the food arrived there was a dish we had never had before and were unsure how to eat it, the server took the time to let us know how it was typically enjoyed. Really friendly! They came by our table a few times to ensure all was well. Service was super fast too.

Food was fantastic! My wife and I shared 2 mains with an appetizer. Pictures included! We loved it so much we even got dessert which is something we rarely do.

All in all we will be frequenting this place A LOT.

I would give this 10 stars if I could. Love it!!!
