The staff at Cavanagh’s are the absolute best. They were very professional and compassionate and made sure my mom’s memorial service ran smoothly so we didn’t have to worry about anything. I highly recommend them .

We lost my father suddenly and we were so overwhelmed with grief that we didn't know where to begin. Paul was amazing throughout this trying time. He was very professional, caring and attentive to our needs from the moment we walked through the door. He handled everything for us from start to finish and is still helping us with my father's Urn. When we list my husband suddenly, we were overwhelmed, but Lee Cavanagh immediately made us feel supported and cared for. Lee was kind, attentive, and extremely knowledgeable, guiding us through every decision with patience and compassion. My wife and I recently and suddenly lost our eldest son, Sean. Even though we now live 45 miles away, we immediately contacted Cavanaugh Funeral Home in Norwood, PA. The reason is that we always have and continue to completely trust the Cavanaugh family.
Paul and Lee Cavanaugh are unequivocally the best in the business. They possess the same professionalism and caring that their respective fathers, Bart and Bill had before them. Actually, their grandfather and great-grandfather paved the way for this four-generation family business. They were so helpful and took care of everything during this stressful time.Grieving the loss of my mother and planning and making the funeral arrangements would not have went so well without the help of Paul, one of the Cavanagh, employees and the rest of his team. They treated us like people and were very patient and kind. They understood we had just gone through a traumatic event and they took the reins, knowing it was hard to even speak about my mother. If you want to feel comforted and have your love one cared for as they pass to the next life this is the place, I promise you you would not forget it.

Losing a mother is one of the most difficult times of your life, especially when she's been sick for a while and left you in charge to handle her funeral planning. Cavanagh's took the worst time possible in my life, and made everything so easy. Not only was I overwhelmed with grief, but I was also just overwhelmed. Cavanagh's took the stress away. The are compassionate, professional, customer oriented, and I will definitely recommend them everyone.

We had the pleasure of working with Jason, and a few interactions with some other staff. The entire staff was professional, sensitive, and kind. Jason and his team made the entire process simple, explained everything, and did not leave any details unchecked. When you need a funeral home, this is the "right" one . I highly recommend it.

Cavanagh's handled both my parents funeral services in 2018 for my mom and just recently a few weeks ago for my dad.They were patient, kind, thoughtful, considerate and very professional in handling my parents services. They made it so much easier for me to get thru this difficult time. I highly recommend them. I view the Cavanagh Funeral Home and Paul Cavanagh who took care of my mom and dad in expediting their burials at the military cemetery in the utmost highest regard.

I lost my mother in April of last year. When I call Cavanaugh’s in Media Pa. I was initially greeted by a nice man. I informed him that I was told that because of the company I worked for we get discounts. When I received a return call I was greeted by an unsympathetic man who assumed because I asked about a discount that I could not afford their service. He told me his cheapest service was 5000.00 and he could not help me because it sounds like I could not afford that. I in fact could afford that, I didn’t care to correct him after his assumption.

I wanted to share my happiness in the day that Cavanagh Funeral homes prepared for us. Paul was extremely helpful, patient, and worked with us to ensure my moms service was exactly as we wanted.
