We really appreciated the efforts of Cavanagh’s with our loved one’s service arrangements. They were very caring, skilled, and were able to handle the necessary details while we focused on our family. We definitely would recommend them.

I am not happy with them . When my hubby passed awey feb 1 st they took my hubby and we confirmed can we have a funeral on Feb 8 on Saturday Jason told us we can have funeral on Feb 8 and took my hubby to funeral home and after that I was trying to get hold of funeral directer Brian (who I talk 6 weeks ago and he gave me all estimate cost etc ). He does not even pick up phone just cutting of my phone and not ansnering my calls . Then I find out from Jason they can’t do funeral on Feb 8 because they have a two funeral on same day . We have to rush and find other funeral home
If that was case why Jason took my hubby there and asking us to change date when we have people coming from out of state and flying from far away .
I will not trust Bryan who does not have a courage to pick up phone and tell us about this change . Looks like he has a nothing to say

Cavanagh Family Funeral Home supported a good friend through a difficult time following the passing of his mother. There were some challenging family dynamics that they handled with professionalism, empathy and care. I can not recommend Cavanagh highly enough.

I would highly recommend Cavanaugh Family Funeral Home. They are incredibly professional, thorough and kind. My brother died suddenly and they attended to every need of every family member, giving good advice, handling all details with care, and being extremely supportive. In such a difficult time, it was a gift to have such professional and kind people by our side.

Lee and the entire Cavanaugh family was there for my close friend after the death of his mother. Lee was empathetic and professional even as messy family drama spilled out in to plain view. Lee lent a sympathetic ear, defused the situation, and helped everyone move beyond the drama to place our focus where it should be—the life of my friend’s mother. Thanks Lee - you are a beacon of light in a world of flight.

No one is ever really prepared for the loss of a loved one. You find yourself in a time of great sadness having to make decisions that will impact forever how you remember that person. Picking the right place to handle the task is of utmost importance. It was predetermined that my mother would be cremated. While most funeral homes offer cremation services, a lot of them outsource the job to a third-party and are members of a larger conglomerate. It was deeply comforting to know that once our loved one reached Cavanagh, everything was handled in-house. The same compassionate people who took the time to get to know our family and guide us through planning the service were also the ones caring for her with dignity behind the scenes. That continuity meant the world to us. Brian Gill guided us through the process with professionalism, knowledge and kindness. He was always available for questions and the follow-up was appreciated. On the morning my mother passed I received a call from Paul who wanted me to know he was leaving to pick up my mom. I can’t remember exactly what he said but I felt comforted in the words he offered. Cavanagh Family Funeral Homes are members of the community and to us it was important that we patronize a locally owned family business and not lining the pockets of corporate shills. I cannot recommend this business enough. Job well done. Thank you so much!!!!

My Mother prepaid for all things necessary and requested by her for her final arrangements. This provided me with a huge sense of relief when my mother passed away. One call to Cavanagh Patterson and my mother was in good hands. This allowed me to focus on family and personal tasks at home. They were kind and thoughtful throughout the process. Having a prepaid agreement was a God sent. I highly recommend their services to anyone. Because of their help and kindness, I was able to rest assured Mom was in caring hands. I thank them from the bottom of my heart.

We recently lost our dear mother after a slow decline in her health. We met with Paul ahead of Mom's death to make arrangements to have Mom cremated when the time came. Paul explained everything to us, giving us the opportunity to learn as much or as little as we wanted to know about the process. Mom was treated with dignity and respect, as were we. The staff was very responsive and considerate. Our family is very glad that we chose Cavanaugh Patterson Funeral Home.
