Wow, this is by far the best shawarma I’ve had in… forever! Was recommended this place by a friend and boy oh boy, he was not wrong when he said the food here is amazing! From the minute you walk in, the atmosphere and the smell reels in tight, that it’s quite literally impossible to not walk out with some food in hand. The menu was of l huge variety so it took me a while to decide, but when I did, I knew I made the right choices. Every bite was a journey and my satisfaction meter went up every time! I definitely want to now I try everything on the menu since I only got the shawarma and Greek salad. Huge thanks to Danielle, the cashier, for making the takeout process smooth and efficient. Though I did eat at home, I am definitely coming back to dine-in. 10/10!

Good quality laffa, I really love the laffa. I got the Chicken Shawarma laffa, but the chicken was a bit dry.. everything else was good and tasted amazing.

The service was so slooow. The person at the front moves as if its a slow day and he is chilling. Really takes his time. Even when it started to get super busy he is going the same pace. I suggest ordering beforehand to prevent delay.

The food at Me-Va-Me Kitchen Express was absolutely amazing. Everything tasted incredibly fresh, especially the hummus and the fried eggplant. The hummus was smooth, creamy, and clearly made fresh, and the eggplant was perfectly cooked with great flavour and texture.

You can really taste the quality of the ingredients, and the freshness makes a huge difference. Simple dishes done properly with great ingredients always stand out, and this place does it well.

If you’re looking for fresh, authentic Mediterranean food with bold flavours and great quality, this spot definitely delivers. I would happily come back again.

I’ve been coming here for years and it’s still my go-to spot for shawarma in the GTA. The chicken shawarma is always juicy, flavourful, and incredibly generous. You get a great selection of fresh salads and toppings, so every order feels fully loaded.

The portions are massive. Seriously, do not attempt to eat it on the go unless you are very brave.
Staff are friendly, fast, and consistent, and the quality has never dropped over the years.

If you want a filling, delicious shawarma that actually lives up to the hype, this place delivers every single time.

I visited Me Va Me Express recently and ordered two sandwiches. Upon ordering, I was told it'd take about 15 minutes which I was fine with. 15 minutes passed and a group of guys came in to order their sandwiches, and ultimately even though I was there before them and waiting, they were served first with their orders. After my order was finally ready, the food was cold and stale; you could tell it wasn't freshly made. I ended up throwing out both sandwiches without getting a refund, a waste of money. I wouldn't recommend visiting this place at all as the service and food were terrible and the atmosphere wasn't clean or decent either. I think it is under new or different management which ultimately is hurting their business. 0 stars if possible.

Almost 40 min later they ask us what we want on our pita which was completely torn I asked the lady for another one and she said thats how it is not impressed with the customer service at this location the bill was almost 40 dollars and this is the quality they provide?

Friday night August 22 at 9:45pm doors were closed and staff were cleaning up inside. Drove for 20 minutes to find out the closing hour on google, 10pm is actually wrong. Or did people who work there decided to close early? I suggest you to either change your hours online or have your staff stop closing up earlier than the closing hour. They already stop cooking fresh meat/chicken starting 9pm at least let us have your left over cold chicken at 9:45pm.

I've ordered the large falafel platter from this restaurant through Uber Eats a few times over the past year. While my first order was great - generous portions, fresh vegetables, six falafels, and laffa bread included - the value has noticeably declined with each subsequent order.

On my second order, the price had gone up, which was understandable given the times, but disappointing nonetheless. By the third order, they had removed the laffa bread from the platter entirely (and from the Uber description), which felt like a quiet reduction in value. Most recently, they packed the falafels first and squeezed small portions of sides around them, resulting in a much smaller overall meal.

What used to be enough for three modest meals has now shrunk to barely two, despite the consistent price (or increases). In tough economic times, I look for places that offer good value and consistency. Unfortunately, this restaurant no longer delivers on either.

Me Va Me has always leaned toward the pricier side - even back when they first opened in Toronto - but the steady decline in portion size and quality makes the cost hard to justify now. I won't be ordering again, and I'd suggest looking elsewhere if you're after better value for your money.

I had ordered a large chicken breast box meal at $21.95. I received 5 pieces of chicken breast (which used to be one skewer serving) and the rice that was spread out at the bottom of the container, which measured far less than one serving size.
The side salad had the wilted rotting leaf in it.
The entire meal was very unsatisfying and disappointing.
I have been a patron of MeVaMe since 1997 at the
Original restaurant on Steeles and Bathurst. They used to give so much food that one order fed two people comfortably. Now, the franchisees are really ruining its reputation.
I am very sad and extremely disappointed with this restaurant on 330 Steeles Ave W, Thornhill, ON L4J 6W9.

Reviews speak for itself. The worst Me Va Me I have ever visited not only did they miss the order notes but I always order from the richmond hill location and they always put two sauces and fill up the salad all the way to the top. I paid almost $50 for this!! Horrible service. On top of that I repeated the order a few times and had the lady repeat it as well. They are extremely professional, and we actually deserve a partial refund. This is so embarrassing on top of that look how small the chicken is, in the Bathurst and Rutherford location they really give you what you pay for but seems like at this location they are greedy for money and really want to milk you out of it.

AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS. Horrible service, terrible portion sizes, and they make you wait over 20 minutes for it! I ordered a Greek salad with chicken souvlaki to add. After 20 minutes the guy who was cooking comes and asks me if it’s dine in or take out, i say dine in and he gets frustrated likes it my fault no one asked me before. Chicken portion for 11 dollars was a JOKE. Meal was $22 without drink, wasn’t even close to a Greek salad and the chicken was just like any other. The way they have everything pre packaged is sad, because it’s probably to speed things up but their service is the slowest I’ve EVER experienced. Lots of plastic waste. When i told him the portion size was misleading for the price, he said “one skewer that’s it”. I waited 20 minutes to leave hungry.
