Welp, since visiting the location 8 days ago Google now indicates it’s “Temporarily Closed” so perhaps my insights below are a moot point. But here they are anyway…

The food was all very good and what I remember enjoying when there were many Me Va Me locations dotted along the northern end of the GTA — but all seem to have seemingly slowly disappeared.

Upon entering the establishment and asking for a former favourite, moroccan cigars — that were listed on the big electronic menu (highlighted in yellow) — was told they and the spinach triangles are no longer sold?

Okay…so I moved on with my grief and thought I’ll order a nice refreshing pomegranate lemonade that is advertised on the very next large screen (again, highlighted in yellow)…but guess what!?! Carbonated lemonades are also no longer sold. So why aren’t the electronic computer/tv like menu boards being updated?
Likely because the location is also doing a vanishing act?

The food was unusually slow to be prepared, one of the 3 staff members was noticeably disgruntled overall during our entire interaction and maybe all in all completely ‘checked out’ if losing employment/a business.

Perhaps end of an era!?!

Pictured below…hummus and beef/lamb combo kebabs were standouts. Dill potatoes ok but nothing super excitng.

Decent price
Good service, very friendly staff
The large chicken finger platter (which is actually a schnitzel) was very bland.
The chicken wrap was much better as the sauces helped but overall kinda bland.
The lemonade was refreshing but had a little too much sugar.

Gets a 2nd star since restaurant is very clean.

Place was empty but guy at the cash with long hair appeared more occupied by his phone than to acknowledge my existence. When I asked him what's the difference in size between a small and a large shawarma, he was rude and seemed bothered /distracted. Thats when the much nicer coworker jumped in. Unfortunately, the shawarma literally sucked. Their harissa tahini sucked. All the veggies stacked to the bottom of the wrap and chicken on the other end. It was tasteless, and pretty brutal. However, it was fresh. So if you are unaware of what makes a good shawarma, you might be satisfied to spend 15$ on a wrap with 4 ounces of chicken

This is my favourite eastern mediterranean place in the city. Great spot to grab a quick and yummy bite. The hummus is definitely a highlight. All staff members are nice and provide great service.

Me Va Me serves solid 'Mediterranean' food at a decent price. I ordered the small chicken breast plate with rice, and it was really good—flavorful, well-cooked, and felt like a healthy meal. The restaurant itself is nice, clean, and welcoming. Overall, a good spot for a satisfying Mediterranean meal without breaking the bank.

Ordered the Laffa wraps and Greek salad as a catering order. The food was delivered on time and was delicious, the service was exemplary. I will definitely use them again. highly recommend if you’re having a function.

There were about 7 chunks of this in my Greek salad. I dumped it into a larger bowl at home to mix the dressing and picked these out, but I should have taken the full photo. Do better.

I recently dined at Me-va-me, and I was really impressed with the whole experience. The food was fantastic — fresh, flavorful, and well-prepared. I ordered the Me-va-me salad with chicken shawarma, and it was absolutely delicious. The portion was generous, making it a great value for the price. The restaurant itself was spotless, and you could tell cleanliness is a priority there. The staff was friendly and attentive, making sure everything was just right. I've been a customer of MeVaMe for 7 years. And even worked for one of their restaurants few years ago. This location is the worst. I should have trusted the comments about dry shawarma. The shawarma is not even coming from the grill, the stick was empty and not even turned on as we later noticed. It's litteraly scraps from the day before or even two. The pices are tiny and bone dry. Easily the worst shawarma we've ever had. Hummus was bitter, chicken lentil soup tasteless. Potatoe wedges and salds were good.
Also this location does not even have babaganoush and laffas.
Service was good.

I was really positively surprised by this place. I was once in another branch and had a bad experience, but this branch is very nicely designed, the food was very tasty, the portions were generous and the prices are very reasonable. I had a small plate with pita on the side and it was all delicious. I will come back.
