I have a teen daughter who plays the violin. She has been enrolled in violin lessons with Lessons In Your Home for several months now and she has grown so much. Joseph is the best! Right before the first lesson, he explained the process and objectives of each lesson and I really appreciated his organized way of measuring progress. Whenever my daughter masters a new concept, she plays a piece for me at the end of the lesson. She is really coming along nicely! Joseph is also very friendly and a pleasure to be around. I highly recommend Lessons In Your Home.

I have a child in violin lessons and one in piano lessons. I am super happy with their instructors. They have tailored their instruction to their interests and needs and keep the kids excited about playing and practicing. This has been a really positive experience and is the best music lessons we have had to date.

My daughter has been taking violin classes with Jessica since March 2020 and we could not be happier. They only got to meet in person once before doing classes via Skype for social distancing reasons. But, Jessica has adapted the lessons seamlessly and even taught our daughter how to tune her violin since she couldn’t do it for her in person. That task gave my daughter even more confidence. Jessica gives excellent instruction and frequently provides additional resources for my daughter. Jessica is extremely patient and encouraging. She is a natural with children and we are thrilled to have found her. We feel our daughter has grown so much in her violin ability in just a couple months thanks to Jessica!

We love our guitar lessons with LIYH. My 8-year old daughter has really made great progress in her first year, and we give her teacher a lot of credit for making it fun and interesting, while still teaching the fundamentals. She loves to pick up her guitar and practice throughout the week. We appreciate that LIYH worked with us to match us with the right teacher for her personality. And we appreciate the flexibility with regard to scheduling. Thank you!

Jibby Malik has been our daughter's piano teacher through Lessons in Your Home - DC for over two years now, and we are so happy to see how much he has already helped her grow into a mature piano player who takes pride in and enjoys playing.
