My boyfriend went here and had a really positive experience. The house is clean, safe, and structured in a way that actually supports recovery. The staff genuinely care and are always willing to help or listen when someone is struggling. Being around others who are also serious about staying sober created a strong sense of community and accountability for him. This place helped him stay focused on his goals and build healthier routines. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a solid sober living environment.

Choosing a sober living home is one of the scariest parts of the journey, but this facility made it the best decision I ever made. The environment here is clean, safe, and truly feels like a home rather than a 'facility'.
I want to give a special shout-out to the house manager, Jerry. Jerry doesn’t just 'clock in'; he is deeply invested in every single person’s journey. He balances firm accountability with genuine compassion, making sure we stay on track while always being available for a real conversation when things get tough. If you’re looking for a place where you aren’t just a number, but a person with a path to a better life, this is it.

I have a very close friend who has been struggling with addiction in LA for a while now. I heard about Design For Recovery through another friend and we got him a bed there. The location is great with several nearby stores for everyday items and the staff are all sweet and progressional. Definitely will recommend to others who are looking for a legitimate sober living in LA. Thanks everyone!

I cannot say enough positive things about this sober living facility. From the moment I walked through the doors, I felt welcomed, supported, and genuinely cared for. The staff here truly understand recovery — not just as a process, but as a deeply personal journey. They treat residents with respect, compassion, and accountability in a way that creates real growth.
The environment is clean, structured, and safe, which made such a difference in helping me focus on my sobriety. The house rules are clear and fair, and they’re enforced in a way that promotes responsibility without making you feel judged. There’s a strong sense of community here — everyone supports each other, and you never feel alone in what you’re going through.
What stood out to me most was how invested the staff are in each individual’s success. They go above and beyond to provide resources, encouragement, and guidance, whether it’s helping with employment, meetings, coping skills, or just being there to listen on a hard day. They genuinely celebrate your wins and help you navigate setbacks without shame.

The spacious rooms and outdoor water slide are just the beginning—but what really makes this place special is the community. The staff are friendly, present, and genuinely invested, and the brotherhood here gave us space to heal, grow, and process our trauma without judgment. It’s a supportive environment where you’re not just getting sober—you’re becoming whole again. 10/10 would heal here again.

My loved one went to stay at Jefferson House during his recovery. He was so well taken care of and received support and genuine care from all the house managers. They were also so wonderful and kind to me as well— always answering my questions and being extremely communicative. Vinny, Jerry, and Paul all played a major role in keeping my loved one alive and getting him on the path to recovery. They’re the best! So grateful for them and the work this house does. :)

Design for Recovery enabled me to do what I never thought possible: do sober living with two dogs. After a very rough 2024, I needed to reset my recovery. I found Design and packed my two dogs up and drove from the east coast not quite knowing what I would find. I found a gorgeous home in a wonderful and safe area. I also found house managers that made our sobriety their number one priority. During my three months there I had structure, transportation to 12 step meetings, basic necessties covered, and a community of men that quickly became family.
