Bought a brand new 2024 Subaru Outback Touring at another authorized Subaru dealer - Brandon Thompson Subaru but the car was identified air conditioning issue within a year of the purchase date. Since Ewing Subaru location is closer to me, I tried to make a service appointment, but service advisor said they were out of electricity so cannot do service. I must go to Brandon Thompson Subaru. The service advisor there inspected and only said this was a manufacturer problem that did not add enough Freon. Although this rarely happens in a brand-new vehicle, I let them complete the work to add enough Freon to fix the AC issue. However, the same issue recurred, I went to the closer Ewing Subaru for reinspection this year. I described the year of the car and the AC issue with the service advisor - Stephanie, she instantly said that could be coolant return line problem which can cause the leaking. She knew this is a 2024 car and should have the common knowledge about the manufacturer warranty, but she did not ask for that information instead saying the service cost for full inspection and part replacement will be more than $250. When I responded to her that the manufacturer warranty was still effective, she started checking then changed the service cost to zero dollars. Although this issue was fixed early this year, it took me long time to be able to drive at a balanced temperature.

Colin in service at Ewing Subaru of Plano has been fantastic taking care of my Subarus. Always clear about what's needed, honest about what isn't, and keeps me updated the whole way through.

While I was waiting I wandered over and looked at a used vehicle, and Arturo on the sales side was just as great. Friendly, honest, and genuinely helpful. He answered every question, put everything in writing, and never once made me feel rushed or pressured. Can't say enough good things about him.

Two really good people. If you're shopping at Ewing Subaru of Plano, ask for Colin in service and Arturo in sales!

Another wonderful experience with Ewing Subaru's Service Department! Collin was so very helpful. Since my son's car had NOT had an oil change since 2024, Collin recommended an oil flush. His clear explanation of this service's process, why he recommended it, and how it would help the car was excellent. We love Ewing- from sales in front to the service department in back- great people!!!

The team took amazing care of my car. I was greeted by Heather and then Erik was my service advisor. Both were very friendly and helpful. Then they made sure to take good care of me and my vehicle. Oil change was very quick and the repair was also done in a timely manner. They have complimentary fancy coffee and snacks for customers in the waiting room.

Bought the Forester here at Ewing Subaru. The service guys are very courteous. The waiting area is comfy and quiet. I can work here while waiting for the service to be done. Love it. There's even a kid's corner too.
