We're so happy to try this amazing Pollo Loco chicken now in Colorado Springs! The food was freshly cooked adn tender. Jenny was very attentive and so was the assistant manager Sami. They made us feel right at home! Can't wait to be back!

I'm here probably at least once a week (especially for Taco Tuesdays!) for takeout and appreciate the hard work taking place behind the counter. Everyone who has called my number and handed me my food has been friendly and courteous. The general manager really cares about giving guests a good experience. Having the El Pollo Loco app is a money-saver and offers great rewards and special deals. I feel fortunate to have this healthy food and hard-working team so close to home!

Update 3/29/26 - busy busy busy! Great to see them doing so well. Place was standing room only at 1:30 pm. Had the double chicken tostada bowl and it was great - but still had food envy of the great looking grilled chicken all around me.

Initial post: Not in the best part of town nor the easiest place to get in and out of but the food is excellent. Great grilled chicken and amazing salads.

Visited for the first time to try one of their new salads. The Mexican Caesar salad is really good! Plenty of chicken, your choice of dressing and salsa. Portion was more than two servings for sure which makes it a great value paired with the double portion of chicken. Dressing and salsas both come on the side which allow you to control the calories!

First and foremost I would like to personally thank Mr. J for coming over and checking on us and our meal! Everything was just as I had remembered for my past experiences at El Pollo loco. I understand that many people have complained about the traffic that this restaurant has caused, but as all the others in time things will get better. It is well worth a little inconvenient that it causes! I feel that we are very fortunate to have this restaurant in Colorado Springs.
