Ever everyones talking about they rent it at this place. 20 years ago 15 years ago, I've been renting from this place 30 some years and they switch owners twice. Since self storage has been there\n When Annette Was there in charge? Since secures have taking over? My payments has went up 3 times in 2 months.\n And they're never gonna give you a one set price for the years to come, they're gonna raising up their prices.Ever time and my son rents from them to. He paid 2 months in advance and they put a lock on his storage unit. Had to go in there 3 × make them take the lock off. They had to look in their computer to see that he had paid 2 months in advance. So he's able to get in his unit, and all they could say is sorry, sorry. They tell you, they're not gonna go up for a whole year and that's a lie they go up every 2 to 3 months or whenever they feel like it. I'm saying all these comments about how nice they are, where because it seems like I'm being harassed. The only person that's been nice to me in understanding is the girl that has to piercing that work there, the African American young lady.

Very disappointed with my experience here so far.

When I initially rented my unit, I was told that the company provided a military discount. I was also told that the discount could not be stacked with the first-month 50% promotion, which I completely understood. I was told to call back after my first month to have the discount applied.

After the first month, I called to have the discount applied, only to be told that they would not honor it by a woman named Allison. I explained that this felt misleading and deceptive because the discount was a factor in my decision to rent the unit. Allison said she would speak with her supervisor, and after over a month and multiple follow up calls/emails, she ultimately told me that they could not do anything.

I then simply asked for contact information for a supervisor or someone higher up so I could address the issue directly. I was told that she “couldn’t give out that information.” I found that extremely disappointing. I wasn't asking for special treatment — I was asking the company to honor what I had been told when I made the rental decision and, when that wasn't possible, to provide a way to escalate the concern.

As a military member, I have always appreciated businesses that genuinely support service members, which is why this experience was particularly frustrating. Of note too, I was disappointed in the lack of cleanliness of the units. My unit was very dusty upon move in.

This facility keeps changing hands. They wanted to raise my unit price 69.7%!!!! So I downgraded to a smaller unit, since I didn’t need as much space anymore. I walked around with a gal and a measuring tape and they showed me several units that were supposedly 5’ x 10’, 7’ x 10” etc. I asked to measure the units as we toured, because they looked much smaller than they said they were supposed to be. I ended up going with one a couple days after looking, as a couple more units came available. They are charging me for a 7.5’ x 10’ sized unit, but it’s actually only 6’ 5” x 10’. Rates are set by square footage, so that means they overcharge you. Their excuse is that they just took over a property, and say that nobody’s been able to update a map the units. But that would actually be physically impossible to do unless the give notice to the whole complex (and they don’t intend to). The store deflects and tells you to call Customer Service to tell them about the size discrepancy—even suggested that I write a review “to complain” so that the corporate company see it online to do something about it, but didn’t want to take that approach. I just wanted them to charge me fairly, so I tried calling customer service to get help with it... I actually JUST got off the phone with them, and THEY too are deflecting, and just told me to take it up with the store that the size is different than advertised/charging me for. So basically neither one cares about how their customers feel about being jerked around--nor will provide me with what feels like a fair solution. I guess I am forced to take it up with the online community and give my review. Unless you are prepared to immediately have to move out, if you can’t afford their price hikes, please maybe shop around some more. Wish there were more storage space options close to me.

Chris was very helpful in explaining the options and showing us the available unit before I decided to take it. It's a great location and seems clean and easily accessible. I definitely liked the introductory pricing and moving forward the monthly price is very reasonable.

If I could give a review equal to the service Charity provided to us today it would be 100 stars. My husband and I have stored here for well over 5 years and over time met many different, helpful faces, throughout. Charity stood out from all of them. She listened to us complain without any interpretations to start ( we went there to deal with recent billing issues) we’ve had. Unlike most places she actually made us feel like she genuinely understood and wanted to help. Her people skills are rare and hard to find these days. We couldn’t even resolve our issue at that given time but left completely comfortable knowing it’s fixable. No worry is needed!! Thank you so much, Charity. It was a pleasure to meet you.
