I had spoken with a competitor, Orkin, who wanted to charge $300 for a one-time service or $200 plus a $55 monthly subscription. The rep I originally spoke with at Orkin was very pushy and wanted to make the sale. I had to tell this man three times that I would be speaking with my husband first, to which he hung up on me. Needless to say, I found a better company.

When getting estimates from Berrett, Drew did not pressure me into a sale and did not fuss when I wanted to double-check the estimate and dates with my husband, who was at work. One-time treatments are available that do not cost more than a treatment plus a monthly subscription. My price was $200 with taxes.

Carwin was my exterminator today. He ended up calling to say he could come service my house 2 hours early. He seemed very thorough and was very kind and informative.

I will update in a couple of weeks to see if our ant problem was fixed with just this one visit or if we needed a second.

I had a home inspection appointment with Omar, a Berrett Pest Control inspector. I couldn't ask for a better professional! He did a thorough job and immediately got me scheduled for someone to come out and spray tomorrow. He completely put my mind at ease, I know I am in good hands.. Kudos to Omar ..Berrett Pest Control is very lucky to have someone like him on their team!

Terrible.

Their sales gave me a low quote then a technician updated it to double the quote a week later.

In my first call they set up inspection for next morning seems like they have quite a lot of availabilities then next day I was stood up and the next availability is 6 days later.

Don’t fall for their “free inspection” - it is just an excuse to deny their sales quote.

They set up a treatment before I agreed on price. I called and they said nothing to worry about you are all set. ???

Can’t believe they have 4.9 here. Yelp says 3.0. Maybe The only thing they are good at is deleting honest reviews.

My experience with this pest control service started when I saw tiny insects gathering around my bathroom light during evenings. The technician inspected the entire bathroom setup, including drainage lines, tile joints, and ventilation areas. He explained that humidity and light attraction were causing the issue. Instead of heavy chemical spraying, he used a more targeted treatment inside cracks and wet zones. I liked that the process felt controlled and not overwhelming. There was no strong odor, and the bathroom was usable shortly after. Within a week, those insects disappeared almost completely.

Had Barrett come out to treat for ants and rodents. They stated part of the exterior treatment was to clear wasp nest and spray. As soon as they left I found a wasp nest right outside the front door. I then called them back 2 weeks later because the ants had not cleared up any. I also asked the treat for rodents. I set an appointment for Wednesday. Technician showed up on Tuesday. Treated for ants but “forgot” to treat for rodents. When I asked about the appointment and the rodents she was not sure. When I called the office to complain they had nothing to say. I asked to cancel services and was told someone from retention would call me back. When she called a few days later she said they could cancel but I had to pay an extra $100.00 cancellation fee. I told her I was cancelling because they could not or would not perform the services as requested. I was basically told to bad pay the fee. I will never, ever use this company again and would recommend going to any other company. Find one who will honor their commitments.
