From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed and at ease. The front desk staff were warm and friendly and efficient, making check-in a breeze. The dental technician, Ivory, took great care in the process of my exam and walked me through the whole process of me getting my teeth cleaned and getting my teeth replaced and cared for and Dr. Mackenzie took the time to explain the process and the procedure for my dental appointment. Dr. Jina Zrik is amazing! I was super scared coming here after a couple horrific experiences with other dentists, but she heard my fears and did everything and more in her power to make sure I felt safe, comfortable, and heard. Her and all the other employees were super friendly and helpful even getting me in 30 minutes earlier than my scheduled appointment (which is crazy to me seeing how I normally have to wait an extra 30 minutes for any other doctor!) Highly recommend and I don’t see myself going to any other dentist for as long as they stay open. 5/5 highly recommend

I had an excellent experience with Dr. Jina Zrik and her assistant, Natalie! I went in for fillings and was extremely nervous about getting numb, but Dr. Zrik’s touch is so gentle that I barely felt the injection. She immediately put me at ease.

What impressed me most was that Dr. Zrik personally completed the entire procedure, from drilling to filling and polishing, while Natalie provided great support throughout. That level of care and attention is hard to find.

Both Dr. Zrik and Natalie were kind, professional, and made the whole experience comfortable. I highly recommend them!

Our family of five has been coming to Open and Affordable in Firestone for four years and we absolutely love it. Dr. Jina Zrik has done amazing with my three kids. She makes them feel comfortable and does great work. They have always worked with us to get the most of our insurance and work on issues with my kids teeth step by step. No pressure, just great care. I have never come across such a patient oriented medical practice. Dr Hails and his staff make it very clear that the patient comes first. They are professional but caring, thorough but careful. She made me feel respected and her technique was such that she administered the shots with no pain at all. Exceptional service from the entire team. Looking for dental care in the Tri-town area look no further. The staff is amazing, friendly and knowledgeable. Being private pay and needing several cavities filled I was nervous about the cost. The discount plan covered my cleaning, x-rays and took a percentage off of my fillings making the price affordable, as a single mama that means the world. Dr. Z was efficient, friendly and made me feel at ease. A true professional. Thank you for everything!

De Jina Zein was excellent! She’s on the ball, assertive, but also compassionate. Good pairing for a doctor. Get you what you need done, nothing more, but doesn’t miss stuff either. I experienced new unique dental challenges caused by a black widow bite on my occipital joint. I had crazy symptoms caused the the neurotoxin. I wound up spending 2 years seeing multiple dentist and Neuro-Specialists in the region with very limited recovery and comfort. This is the crew that really helped me find comfort and solutions. Unfortunately since Dr. Piper left this place has not been the same. They told me the new Dr would be "just as good" but in no way is she as good and comforting as Dr. Piper used to be. She didn't greet me, explain anything that was going on or really even said bye or asked if I had any questions. I even asked her if the filling was close to my nerve if I would have sensitivity and she said "oh no not at all" well here I am 6+ months later and I cant eat on that side. I am not going back and I used to love that place.

I don't normally leave reviews, but I have been a patient here for about 7 months and I have had wonderful experiences so far. The staff is extremely nice and Dr. Mackenzie is a very skilled and very kind dentist.

She does her work more quickly compared to what I'm used to and I was worried at first that this meant that quality was being sacrificed. After a few visits I realized that no, she really is just that skilled and efficient rather than being faster due to sloppiness. I have had several fillings and a root canal and crown done by her, and all have held up absolutely beautifully with no complications or lingering pain. I have had a ridiculous amount of dental work done in my life, so I know when someone does good work.

I am autistic and have OCD so I tend to ask more questions than the average patient due to anxiety (I am able to suppress most of the questions, but some do get through the filter in the end lol), yet Dr. Mackenzie and the staff here have all been very patient and kind to me even when I may have been a bit annoying. The dental assistants are kind and helpful people who are great at their job too, and the receptionists have been lovely.

I have Medicaid too and I am very thankful to them for treating me well even if they don't get paid as much for work done on me and other Medicaid patients.

100% recommend this dentist office to anyone looking for a new one!

I went in on an emergency appointment. I had a horrible toothache. It turned out my impacted. Wisdom tooth had pushed against another tooth and cracked it. They proceeded to take out my impacted wisdom tooth, and the other tooth that was cracked in the process. They cracked my other tooth and exposed to nerve. I had to go to two other dentist, one of which was an oral surgeon to repair the mistakes that were made which included me having have bone graphs put in. I was an extreme pain for a week and a half after they did this procedure. I kept calling them and telling them I was an extreme pain and they were just told me to take Tylenol and when did I want to schedule a cleaning. I wasn't until I was able to see another dentist I finally had some relief. I did tell other people and my son was not listening to me and went there and they also made a mistake in which he had to go to yet another dentist to correct it I've talked to several other people and not one person has told me of a positive experience. All they kept doing the entire time I was in there was asking me about when I was going to schedule a cleaning and then proceeded to keep calling me. I even paid for the year long maintenance program subscription and never went back again.

This was the most amazing experience I ever had at a doctors office, dentist or any facility of the sort. I felt so in the loop with what was happening, I came in having tooth pain with no appointment and they got me in right away. The doctor was so gentle with the anesthetic during my root canal And walked me through every single step in the process. I felt so comfortable the whole time. And the staff is too sweet. I highly recommend visiting this dentistry over any other one. They also take Medicaid, which is so amazing!
